All PS3 Trophies

Well i know i dont post on here often, (and i finally got my password for my original account lol) but i have used this site from the start.. believe it or not but i have. And now to the point lol i thought seeing as well all talk on here alot i thought it might be a good idea to write abit about ourselves… ya know just sumat like what got you into gaming or anything you have achieved that your proud of so we all can learn sumat about each other, (it seemed like a good idea at the time for those who will no doubt try and flame me for this)

Anyway my real name is matthew lol hate it tbh, every1, even mother calls me coll haha after collbreast obv im 18 and currently at college and hopefully gonna go to uni to study physiotherapy, which is pretty hard to get on to..  The reason i got into online gaming is because of my best mate, he invited me to his house to play rfom and i was no short of amazed when i saw what you could do, then i nagged and nagged to get wireless internet lol purely to test my fifa skills against the world but i then became hooked on rfom and other such games.. I loved online gaming since and would never switch to another console, PC's are lame even though  that is where the money is to be won and shitbox 360 is pretty poor imo, i had 1 only to sell because it just sat gathering dust once my ps3 stole its spot on the shelf  i have only had 2 clans to date on ps3, N-K natural killers and GoD, generals of darkness. My best achievement i would say (apart from platinum on some games) would have to be reaching the final of the last ever tournament for rfom on consolegaming with N-K we lost to WAR

I hope some people can be bothered to do something of the sort as its always the regulars on here sorta like a family lol anyway id be happy to know a bit more about everyone on here and admin can you please add me lol i wanna see your trophy set, just purely because your fairly quiet on here lol and rather mysterious haha wanna see what sorta games you play and such n such

lol it was a good game kinga, i dunno how many people will have seen it, how many people on here are actually from the UK? lol i know there arent many americans/ canadians that even follow football or soccer as they know it. oh i 1st started gaming when i was 4, on the first ps1, i believe it was called the PSX or that was the whiter one after the 1st model, i don know tbh lol my 1st game was porsche challenge closely followed by crash bandicoot 1 and destruction derby which i spent many a hour on. i got my console chipped after and 'wasted' alot of my youth completeing most of the games that came out. i say wasted but what else is there to do when your so young lol am i right or what? haha

Im 15 (couple of months till 16) from Merseyside, England. I support Man U (Lets here the boo's…) I first started gaming on my dad's philips cdi on zelda (ancient console) but it was cool. I then got a Ps1 at the age of 3-4. When i got my Ps3 my 1st game was COD 4 and i found i had a 'talent' for FPS. My best gaming moment was getting my 1st Platinum trophy (KZ2), then getting four more Platinums within the month (Thats 5 in 1month).

really guys? i know its fun and quite thrilling getting your 1st platinum but you must have some better memories or such things achieved on ps3 that are better than that.. i also went to the FIWC earlier this year, i went to Leeds to play in the qualifiers and lost  in the semi's to some playing as maan u lol i lost on pens, anyway, that was an ok thing, getting to the semi's, so when fifa 2010 comes out, no more trophies for me, i wanna practice my footy skills.. oh yeah. i was also rank #1 in the UK for a couple of days when fifa 09 came out believe me or not, add me and ill show you the pic of the leaderboard

hey. I started gaming when i was like 3 (my cousin got me into it). I love soccer. Although i dont watch it anymore i just play it now. I take karate. Im 11 o.O (almost 12 XD). And my greatest accomplishment in gaming is when I got my first platinum (LBP).

Hi all. Well it seems as though I am the old man around here lol. I am 30. My real name is Joe. i am from the states. My biggest achievement so far(well outside of video games is being a dad)Inside video games though it has to be getting the Gta4 platinum or getting into the top 50 on Kz2 for the week anyways lol.My next big acheivement will be getting the platinum for Kz2. Elite and getting some of those impossible ribbons to get without boosting will be tough for me. Being a Dad i dont really have alot of time to game, but I am pretty good at them. I have been gaming since atari. My dad had one when I was younger. My first console that was truly mine was an original Nintendo. Was big into zelda at the time. Which led into other rpg that i played along the way. I have had pretty much all consoles since then,except xboxes. Never liked the controller. Playstation has alsway had the best controller design in my opinion. I eventually tried socom when it hit ps2 and found out that I was actually pretty good at 3rd/1st person shooters which got me hooked and i said goodbye to rpg games as they were just to time consuming for me. Favorite games to date that I have played has to be God of war series. Cant wait for 3. Killzone2 is right up there though. I just wish I had more time to play it lol.

Hey, I'm 16 (but turning 17 in the beginning of June) and I'm from the U.S. as well.  My family owned the original NES when I was young, and we still have it to date at my grandparent's, so that's how I got into gaming pretty much.  It barely works now though, which is kind of sad, but I've moved on to better consoles .  I haven't had really any huge life accomplishments yet…hopefully as I get older something amazing will happen.  I've been around the entire U.S. mostly and I hope to travel to Australia and Europe at some point in my life, maybe during college.

My biggest gaming accomplishment is probably the first time I won a deathmatch in Resistance 2.  It was a pretty big deal for me at the time lol.  I pretty much like every genre of gaming (but RPG's are probably my favorite), and my favorite game of all time is probably Bioshock.

Outside of gaming I like music too.  I play the piano, euphonium, and tuba, and I hope to learn guitar this summer.  I also enjoy playing tennis.

first off, nice to meet you, Matthew.  I have a brother called Matthew, so it doesn't seem to bad!  But I'lll call you Coll if ya really don't like it.  So, welcome to the forums!

There isn't really much to say about myself.

I'm 19, going on 20 in July.  I adore Computers and love working in the I.C.T field.  I am still studying (from home) and currently have a part-time job in the much less admired field of retaill.

I haven't been on my ps3 very much lately, as many already know.  this is partly due to my studying, but also because I haven't really had the urge to play many games lately.  In fact, some might find this silly, but the game “Flower” has actually inspired me to change my life around.  Since playing that game, I haven't really felt the need to play many other games.

When the trophy firmware came out along with a few trphy supported games, I was all over it – I loved collecting the trophies.  actually I still do!  But after a while, I just had a sort of… epiphany. 

Anyway… I started playing games when I was very young.  I had begged my parents for a mega drive system.  I was a huge Sonic fan (though, not anymore of course).  I carried on playing games with quite a few consoles… SNES, playstation, N64, PS2, Dreamcast, Gamecube, Gameboys (GB, GBC, GBA, SP, DS etc.) , sega saturn, neo geo and even a few others. 

Accomplishements?  I would say:

completing Pokemon green in 1996 in Japanese at age 9.

Completing Shadow of the Collossus' last boss in Time attack mode in under 9 minutes, which took a quite a few tries.  (this isn't a huge accomplishment, but I was happy with myself afterwards ).  

Depending on how you look at it, Building my first PC from scratch was an accomplishment.

and finally, getting my first Platinum trphy is always something i think everyone remembers.

I've been looking forward to meeting you for a few days now, because someone messaged me on the ps3, saying he was your friend.  He was talking about something I had said on a particular topic in this very forum.  put simply, he said everything i said was wrong – he insulted me many times, and continued to write about you.  I messaged him back and told him to take a hike.  Once again he came back at me with several more insults. 

I can see that you're a nice guy, and I thought you should know that there are people like this who will use your name in vain. 

so… the question?  In your own words, what do you think makes a good / great gamer?

Raptorguy here – - 33, married male, Columbus Ohio USA, Geologist, was 1st in line at the local Walmart 56 hrs before the PS3 launch…The PS3 is the center of my home entertainment system (52' 1080 Samsung, wireless internet, keyboard, mouse, linux installed on partitioned 120 GB HDD, 500 GB external drive, all my music and pictures are on the PS3, wireless connection to the upstairs PC via Windows Media, and have Blu-Ray nights weekly with friends.  I play ALL games, download a lot off the PSN, and hear the jingle of those trophies unlocking in my sleep (haha – not really).  I love playing all games and seeing how they look in HD and I am always testing my surroung sound subwoofer!  I have limited time & cash so I rent ALL games on my blockbuster unlimited pass.  LOVE THIS SITE – - come here daily and multiple times during work….its the best place for trophy lists, guides, and hints on how to save time unlocking those tricky ones…ALL of my friends on the PS3 are from this site (all but 1, the guy I grew up with just got a PS3!)… MY ADVISEe:  Play often, play anything, enjoy life, and appreciate the technology (not all of us grew up with this cool ass stuff).
