Not sure who will be willing to join me and go without a PS3 (or any other power) for an entire hour but it'd be great if you could to preserve the energy of the Earth. I know it's probably asking a lot being a Saturday and all. Help out the Earth tonight… I will be! Smile

I played a gig yesterday, and we finished right before Earth Hour. Then we just walked around downtown. And then i played GoW3 when it was finished.

And i heard that if everything in the world turned off power for 24 hours, the atmosphere would heal itself by 80%!

What kinda music do you play, parnakas? Anything up on MySpace? Wouldn't mind hearing it.

That's awesome that the Earth's atmosphere could be healed by that high of a percentage within a 24-hour timeframe. Too bad it'd almost be impossible to go 24 hours without power because all your food would go bad.

Also, unfortunately, that is a total load of BS.  For the record, the atmosphere can't “heal itself”.  Its not a living breathing entity, and ozone isn't exactly easy to produce.  So, on that note, saving the “earth's power” (really its our power) is only slowing the damage slightly as long as we remain reliant on fossil fuels for energy, which is where the real issue lies.  If you really want to do something for the earth, please lobby for clean energy like nuclear power.  If you are against nuclear power, I highly recommend doing some more research on it before buying into the incredibly hypocritical propaganda that is often times spread by “ecologically concerned programs” or other uninformed environmentalists (primarily Green Peace).  Or ask me and I'll write you a 15 page essay on the common myths of nuclear power and the truth behind it.

Wow, parnakas… I saved your link in March to watch it and I just came across it now and was like, “Whoa, I'd say I'm a little overdue to watch this.” LOL.

Anyway, you guys have a great band there. Seems like you work well together and there's a definite chemistry. Awesome cover too, by the way. Do you guys have an EP or an album put together yet? I subscribed to your YouTube page, anyway. Good stuff! Wink

It might not “heal itself” but it can be replenished as such…

LOL. I was thinking the same thing. After you look at Sej for so long, you just assume that's what Parnakas is gonna look like.

I must say though, it's nice to see a thin gamer in Parnakas. There's just too many chubby gamers these days (oh yeah — I looking at myself in the mirror). Laugh

N'aww Tridon, feeling chubby?

I'm sure there's fatter gamers than you about.

I'm a thin gamer too! Too thin, for the amount I eat. I'm one of those people who shovel in food all the time, but just don't put on weight. It's so weird.

So in other words, your one of those guys that chubby people hate. LOL. Wink

Naw, I was just joking. I'm overweight but I'm not really chubby. I have a huge frame and zero high metabolism though, so I have to work hard to not get overly chunky.

I myself am a chunky gamer i’m 15 and used to be 132 kg but i’ve slimmed down to 115kg through shear love of walking in about 3-5 months.
My legs are muscular lol and I bought my first pair of jeans last week ;)

Finally! Doritos in NZ!
