someone's got to fill the space in the top goalscorers chart where ronaldo scored the 2nd highest amount of goals in a pretty average season. Once rooney gets his 100th united goal (against wigan hopefully) that'll inspire him to go on & finally play as that striker he's always wanted to be at united.

For relegation, well, i see no way out for portsmouth, hull and wolves but everton wont get anywhere this season either imo.

i dont think so. they look terrible in defence especially as lescott wants to leave and up front, well, one word… mediocre.
i think you'll end up like 15th just outside the relegation zone by a couple of points.
5th and 6th will be a man city and spurs battle i think.

I was actually hoping Ronaldo wouldn't go this Summer. I mean United would get 80 million pounds imagine the players they could buy. But then they spent a quarter of that on a Wigan player. No offense to any wigan players or anything but I honestly don't think any of their players were worth 20 million pounds.

Seriously you dont know fergie… he has always bought youngsters… i cant actuly think of any man u players which fergie has bought which are over 25, he has a very very good eye for young or potentialy lethal players talent in football..

Since I havn't been on this post in a while, i'm going talk about lots of things i've missed. I hated Berbs last season, he wouldn't move an inch to get the ball, and yeah that penelty against everton last season was woeful!
But I think he's got a bit better, I noticed a big improvement during the birmingham game, he moved a lot more and even ran after the ball! (shock horror!)
Of course we miss ronaldo and the goals, he's scored but as a person I'm happy he's away from the premier league, enough of his diving! Now i we can just get rid of drogba and his antics we'll all be sorted!
I agree with knox, valencia is a great player and can only get better with time but he wont be able to fill in ronaldos shoes, nani wont be able to either, but I like th amount of effort he's puttingg in!
and shame on you shade for not enjoying the beautiful game!

London Derby tomorrow, Spurs vs Westham. This has always been a close game, but with any luck Spurs should win, with the forum they are in at the moment.
Another big London Derby today too, Fullum vs Chelsea. I'm not a gambling man, but I'd put my money on Chelsea.

lol, personally i thought berba's goal was pure magic against wigan today! he's looking better and better!
I'm hoping the title race will be utd and arsenal this season. I respect Arsenal because they play beautiful football. I find chelsea games quite boring to watch on the otherhand!

yeah by far arsenal play the best football and are the best to watch theyre looking better every game and they havent even got an exceptional team (like chelsea) but there chemistery is top notch!
cant believe newcastle are second by 1 goal behind the boro! toon to go top and win the league aye!? then boro for second.

its only been 2 or 3 games but to me berba has been playing alright, he's been a bit hungrier for the ball and could have sword i saw him running at some point (didn't see him do that last season!)
