I was just wondering about the “gnilsia” situation…
Not the “let's talk sh!t to someone” thinking, that gets tedious, never resolves anything and results in people thinking others are “insert derogatory term of your choice here”… But thought towards the build up and current position of this situation. Now some of you will say it's nothing to do with me, or it's not that important, but IMO this is a community, however much you disagree, or don't take it seriously enough. And in a community there has to be communication. People will disagree and argue, others will get on… That's how the world works not just this site…
And also IMO, when a situation gets to a point where a member feels the need to report grief to the Admin, and the Admin feels the need to ban said member, then there has to be official clarification of what has happened and why, however brief the statement is… A ban, however new a member is, should be given under serious conditions. And with no clear, or any in fact, site rules to follow the Admin is doing nothing in stopping scenarios like this happening…
Part of this site for me is knowing that me, or other members, do not have to worry about Mod's analyzing every post to remove anything remotely offensive or argument goading. (This site wouldn't have many posts if there were, plus it's part of the charm for me, lol) But seriously, i think people should have the freedom of speech whatever, and if a member has no common sense over what good conduct is, then warnings and ban's should be given accordingly. Rather than post police (Mod's) the Admin should have intervened sooner rather than later. This situation could have been resolved without such, IMO, drastic action. Then again if gnilsia said something offensive about ninja's gf's condition then perhaps a ban was in order?? It was clear with some of gnilsia's posts he wasn't just a “troll”, and I'm not loved up with gnilsia or anything… But he was a contributor to the site, and we need those.
I would class myself as a member of this site no matter how long I've been here, and some of you would disagree but that's your right… I hope to be posting here for ages too come, hope the people already here stay and i hope decent people join etc. Not to big mind you, i want the tight community value, for me, to stay…
Perhaps I'm taking this to seriously or whatever but that's me. I'm guessing gnilsia is banned due to his lack of posts towards any topics and his posts being set to zero? I would just like the Admin to let everyone know the situation in a bit more detail. IMO everything was done a bit “cloak and dagger”?
Does anyone have an opinion on this also?

id like the idea of a `warning` system of some sort (maybe even a rep system, they sometimes work well ), i dont mind the occasionnal debate going on on some threads but they do sometimes step a bit over the line due to the fact not many people are keen on backing down straight away, but thats how people behave over the internet i guess…and would definetely like a update on whos goten banned so we know what has happened, maybe change their `bronze member/silver member etc` to banned? at least we wont be completely uninformed then, although may be pointless, after all how many people have been banned?
as for the gnilisia thing, i didnt see a need for a ban (which we (or I) still dont know if it is a ban, but post being reset to 0…) unless something was going on over the PMs between him and admin, also i wasn't active on this site for awhile so i dont know if he has caused any other problems. although what he (gnilisia) did was pretty crappy and pointless on his behalf
But as you quite correctly say there will always be arguments, however it gets slightly irritating when similar arguments are repeated over and over, but oh well, think we need a quote from fleetwood mac to finish this off (no particular reason, just saying `oh well `reminded of the song and now its in my head…);

I can confirm that some of his posts have been removed whilst some still remain… He posted some stupid pic in “girls, girls, girls” and that's gone… So I'm unsure if Admin removed anything more offensive that we didn't see…
And i mean gone, not edited by Admin…

I am sorry, I think I missed something. What did ginlsia do? All I have picked up was that it had something to do with Ninjacats girlfriend. I personally like the freedom on this site, I mean no one really abuses it. We don't need a million mods but a rep system couldn't hurt. It's a shame and he (gnilsia) must have done something pretty bad to get banned. He was pretty sound, I don't recall him saying anything offensive to anyone but then again I did seem to miss this whole hoo-hah.

someone want to me tell wat happened exactly or wat we know i usually skip the pointless arguments on the forums. all i read was gnilsia winding ninja up which if it was me would have just stopped posting in that forum anyone who doesn’t is just getting into a stupid slagging match when its prety easy to avoid no comeback message = end of argument right? anyhoo thats just me personally i dunno wat went on through pm and wat not but a ban seems harsh without warning unless he was warned idk lol i need updated

Ninja mentions that his gf is sick… Then after that is when gnilsia seems to get kicked, if he has been kicked… And ninja thanks Admin??
It's more the lack of info from Admin… I think this is a community issue, if a ban has been issued i'm sure it's pretty rare? Some info would be nice?
NOT an attack at the Admin, just questions…

He wasn't told this, given a reason for it or any previous warnings. He just can't sign into his account.

I would guess that most people will have at least two e-mail account's anyway?

Hey guys,
Sorry for leaving you all wondering, but I was pondering whether or not i should come back at all. I will tell you all straight out what was said and done. I was winding up ninjacat the last few days because i am sick of his interfering and insulting behaviour. I am also friends with Knoxie and feel he was takin the pi$$ with him, in the What Am I listening To Right Now Thread. It started off with my sig and location quotes as you all know about, I admit i found it funny because i do not like the guy at all.
Anyway i got a pic of him and his girl and edited it by replacing his face with mine, posted it in Girls Girls Girls and made a polite comment about how good we are together and me dedicating a post to her bla bla bla. I received a reply from I think was Doc B (sorry if it wasn't) and replied rofl and that was the last i saw of it as i was gone to work soon after.
I also had a Gif image i made, the same pic but a cartoon tongue flapping out of my mouth. I admit it could be taken poorly but i was overcome with humour and left it as my Avatar. That was it nothing more nothing less, gods honest truth. Everypost you see in the topic with his comments about his girlfriends 'cancer' (I will come back to this) are there, I NEVER replied thereafter as i wanted to leave him stew for a while. I got a phone call from, my housemate telling me i was wiped clean and then could not login email address wiped user pass everything.
I hated the use of the Cancer comment and didn't believe it but i refused to get involved in such a sensitive topic, that word Cancer is so so very important and should never be used in such a fashion. I have since found out, through the joys of social networking Aliases and careful selection process of various ppl on Facebook that the Cancer comment was a complete fabrication, in order to strenghten his position as a victim of bullying, when in fact he deserves a lot of shit for making that kinda stuff up. I also have proof from various ppl in Crawley, Thomas Bennett Community College, and facebook.
I have never thought someone could stoop that low in order to get his own way. Well ninjacat you win, and in this situation I really don't think you shud be screaming about your success, it definitely isn't a proud victory, but you are welcome to it .

EDIT banning was a gross overreaction to a very soft joke, but i know ninjacat likes the use of the pm button so maybe ps3 trophies is on his friends list  I am sure he got some sort of sob story
And there were no abusive pm's from me to anyone anyone who thinks otherwise i would like you to prove it and give you permission to post the message

Well in all honesty I don't think you should have been banned, I get sick of seeing knoxie stirred up by ratchet and ninjacat and although most on here see me as an a$$ not that I care but I do believe when bullying occurs then admin needs to tell ratchet and ninja to stop the shit with knoxie and not ban someone who sticks up for knoxie when he gets the piss taken out of him constantly. We all argue and whatever on here but at least we are not giving shit to each other every chance we get.

Umm…you did deserve to get banned. All me and ninja do with knoxie is argue. We don't get pics of our girlfriends and edit it and put in pictures of me with knoxies gf. You know how fcuked up that is? You coulda called him out but by using his gf, thats just retarted..

he's done a lot of good things such as how to fix a ylod ps3 and organising fifa10 teamblayer trophy
there have been worse instances than this (thickbrow comes to mind)
i've seen the images they aren't really that bad compared to what some people do on facebook
but each person has their own opinion and we are intitled to our opinion on the internet unless we live china or Australia as of next year(stephen conroy is a simpleton and dimwit internet filter proctecting children really how effective will it be )

Gnilsia is stalking me. Saying things to my friends, things that I have yet to find out. This is serious now, I'd rather it just stopped. I'm sorry gnilsia, just leave me alone and stop following me around the internet. I just want to be left alone. I'm scared you might take this further, and I don't want that. My friends are all confused about the situation, and I've explained to them but they just think it's some guy acting stupid. Which he kind of is. Wandering round facebook and adding kids? That's a bit weird, even if it was “detective work.”
I am still confused as to why it all happened. I really am. I mean, yeah, we had a little spat around Christmas time but that was all resolved and no more harsh words were said. This was totally out of the blue, I had done nothing to provoke you at all. If anything, I deserve a reason as to why the girl I love has been dragged into something that she didn't deserve. It started as sigs, then your location then an avatar and posting it in the “Girls, girls, girls” thread.
Gev, mate, thanks for sticking up for me in here, but it's not needed. I know you're trying to help, but I'd rather we didn't make comments like “you deserved to get banned.” I reported him after he wouldn't stop, even after a calm message on the “Girls girls girls” thread. His warning was from me, and then he was punished. I'd rather not argue about it, I am genuinely upset by the situation. But whatever you do “John Motson” stay away from Laura and my friends. Do what you want to me now, it's no skin off my nose anymore, even if I am worried about what you might do next. I can ignore it but my friends don't understand it all. DO NOT drag them into this.
