I have just seen the M17x laptop from Alienware

I will probably buy it but I am still thinking of it. It is worth buying?

Alienware are very high end PCs. i'd love to get one of their desktops. Saying this, i did decide on getting a custom built PC over one of their PCs. the PC i did get was at least half the price of an alienware PC and it's never stumbled on any game i've thrown at it.

Well I guess it would be great for gaming.
But like Xero said, custom PCs are probably going to better than it.
But im sure it will be great for games. I don't own one myself, I think they are a bit pricey. But I heard that they are great.

imo, laptops aren't worth it at all.
you're much better off getting a gaming DESKTOP instead.
it will be more powerful for less money, and will be considerably cheaper and easier to fix if anything goes wrong.

Yea, you would definitely be able to get a bigger screen.
I guess a desktop would be better, but they could be difficult to move around.. If you like to move around a lot.. but most people don't anyways.

No i will probably puchased it in the middle of the summer

I think it's a good choice with a desktop unless you plan on moving around alot. You definitely get more for your $$$$.
