just watched Toy Story 3!, absolutely brilliant movie, not some cheap crap sequel made to earn some quick cash and over live the series, it was definetely as good as, if not better as the orginial 11 years back, which as a kid i loved! defintely would recommend to anyone, adult or kid alike!

Just watched Toy Story 3, too. (In 3D)

I think it was better than the original, and I would recommend it to any1.

I admit, I got a bit choked up at the 1 scene (I don't want to ruin it 4 any1, but the ppl who have seen it should know the 1 im on about) Laugh

Yes, and it is freaking brilliant. Go see it. The plot is deep, and the acting is superb. The best thing about the film though, is the brilliant camera work. Its just phenomenal, they give you perfect angles and the film just looks great over all. I have seen it twice now, a must-see if you ask me.

Its not a new movie but got round to watching Layer Cake yesterday. A good British gangster flick, with the usual large quantity of twists and backstabbing. Wasn't very happy about the ending but meh.

So true. I thought after seeing avatar I would be lost forever waiting for another movie that could match up. I didn't have to wait long though because Inception is absolutely awesome. For sure a must see.

I thought Avatar was amazing. The story may have been slightly thin, but I thought the CGI and the way it was directed was amazing.

Avatar is the most overrated movie of all time imo, take away James Cameron from the title and it gets what it deserves, bout 1/10th of the hype and $.

Ok, yes, I think Avatar was massively overrated as well, seeing as Cameron pretty much took  Pocahontas, painted them blue, put some pretty CGI behind it and took 10 years to make it. However, there is already a thread about that somewhere in here. Don't get that started again.

And this really made me lol: http://www.thelegendsleague.co…..antoas.jpg

@RKF95 – take away James Cameron? Then no shit the movie would suck. Take away Leo from Titanic, its crap. Take away Stallone, from Rocky, and its more crap than it already is. Take away Arnold from Terminator, and its crap. Take away Heath Leadger from Dark Night, and its definitely not as good as it already is.

If you take away the main star power from any movie, it turns into poo. So don't say that taking away James Cameron makes the movie crap, cuz that applies to EVERY SINGLE movie. Thats usually the point of the movie.

On topic now – I just watched Gangs Of New York. Awesome movie!

…..Go Figure…he said he liked it, but didnt say what you said….

just found a little gem in the dvd stash called `the brave one` great acting and impressive story overall and some lines that are as memorable/quality as a quote from a decent and absorbing book, great ending that really closes the movie well and all round a highly recommended drama/thriller/crime movie!

I have got Avatar on a dvd somewhere, oh wait its near the top of my pile (in alphabetical order), i've yet to watch it yet, i'm not sure if it's my `type` of movie, will watch after i've gotten through my thriller movies and crime movies i have lying around, also i want to get around to seeing inception soon.
