No not really . Like when he lays down his stomach expands but when he gets up he looks normal . Hes surprisingly fast and can jump up to my shoulders .

Aha! I knew trawling for a pets thread would prove to be bountiful!
Anyway, I just got my old fish tank out of the garage because I am desperate to set it back up again. I don't know why, I just want it set up in my room this time rather than downstairs. Hooray for new pets!

Rats are pretty clever little rodents… If you get one it will eventually respond to it's name, just like any cat/dog….
Random info – Goldfish do not have 3-9sec memory's like many people think. They have regular memories like other animals.

no they are actually quite shy and friendly. they take sand baths by rolling around in a sand house if you get them one. they can jump up to 6ft, and you have to keep fur tuffs and knots out of their fur or they can get stressed. they can sometimes attempt to bite you if you be too harsh with them. getting a bite is painful as they have strong teeth, and can pierce human skin. also, they can't sweat, so you have to keep them cool. 25c and above can cause heat stroke.
so they are more or less the desert equivalent to a field mouse or rat.
