With regards to 2012, i believe the date is in fact the 27th Dec. 2011… So shouldn't the film be called “Almost 2012″ lol… And personally I'd prefer to be killed by nature rather than nuclear war, IMO, the other viable mass extinction…
And let's not forget the the LHC, not what “could” happen if it goes “wrong”, but all the pretty crazy sounding stuff that could happen if it works – Wow!!
I'm not one for “doomsday” theories, but the next couple of years will be interesting whatever the outcome.

I agree with you its is better to die by nature and not from nuclear war. We will probably end up like Fallout

The actualle date is De. 21 2012 is from what I'm reading on any website that has the info about it.

@ JJ - My mistake, the film should be called “almost 2013″. And with respect to the Mayan calendar, it's their Earth cycle that finishes… Not necessarily the Earth itself. But like i said if i was gonna talk about this i would have to check it out further.

I think it's pretty funny that 2012 has the potential to be a fairly interesting year for humanity (Possible Armageddon etc.) yet your average person wouldn't know a thing about it if it hadn't been turned into a movie
