According to Nolan North, the man who voices Drake in the games, there's a very short list of actors being considered for the role going around and at the top of that list is Wolverine himself, Hugh Jackman. Personally, I'd rather see Jackman hold off to play Solid Snake in the inevitable Metal Gear Solid flick but then, at the same time, I could see him bringing more justice to the role of Drake over a lot of other actors. I still wish they'd just give it to Nathan Fillion. He has the looks, voice and charisma. Oh, that's right, though — he doesn't have the box office pull. Hell, even Nolan North himself could be excellent in the role. Have you seen the guy? He's not too far off from actually looking like Drake. Anyway… thoughts?

i heard that on the OPM podcast they were talking to nolan north n he said he wants to be drake but if not he wants jackman to play it i think he would be a gd actor for it if he does

Nolan North isnt the right build , hes on the chunky side i guess , or atleast still isnt in the right shape , ofcourse working out can fix that . Hugh Jackman ? Hmm , i would suggest an actor that actually looks like Drake , i mean when you see Jackman what does that remind you of ? Wolverine . So how is that gunna seem when seeing Jackman in Jeans and i worn out top , with people just waiting for him to pull out those claws and just rip Romans head off and be done with it . But he does dish in the money .
Mathew ( last name here ) would be good . He was in Sahara and thats sort of an Uncharted Movie , so come to think of it , he would be a good role .

How is he a douchebag . Hes just in that romantic comedy phase right now , and i doubt he thinks his movies are crap . Hugh Jackman is better but a slight resemblance ? So hes a Dbag and hates his movies too ?

i think matt m. is a great actor and he's really funny. he can really fill the role of drake best. the only thing that sucks is he doesn't look like him. but hugh looks even less like him lol but if it's just either of those 2 i'll be happy with the choice

he does look like drake but he sounds like a girl seriously there first song i fort it was a pink song anyway i still think hugh jackman will play the part better i think an australian accent is better than a texan one for drake

Hugh Jackman rids of his accent in many movies . Dont forget about Xmen 1,2and3 . Also Xmen Origins . Forget this . Trust me , even if they find an actor whos gunna play Elena , Sully ,or Roman? . Theres so much process the movie wont be out for a looooong time .

As long as they stay true to the storyline of Uncharted i have no problem with Hugh Jackman playing Drake, for the role of Wolverine it’s obvious that he grows his hair and sideburns but in this modern era we have these great things called barbers as some of you seem to be forgeting so making Hugh look like Drake would be easy. Nolan North would not be a good Drake he dressed up in a suit for motion capture and provided the voice but that was for a game so no movie experience=FAIL so i hope they go with Hugh. Seriously it seems like you’s want to see a crap movie as long as the guy plaing Drake looks perfectly like him.

Miiitch – i know they can make virtually any actor look like drake, but im just talking about acting skill..
Jackman is ok, but i really cant see him as Drake. And btw, Drake is the main character, so the actor that plays him will pretty much carry the whole movie.

You'll see . I doubt Jackman will follow through with this . He is already doing a broadway movie with Daniel Craig and he already said he is on for Xmen:Origins 2 . Hes too busy and popular to play this role , but then again you never know . I can see a small time actor playing Drake , young , heavy build , and great sense of humour .
