All PS3 Trophies

I don't mean to bash AC or anything (or offend anyone somehow) but I'm probably going to skip as this franchise IMO is milked. I don't know how they can make the gameplay any different from the last one and how is hunting possibly going to make a difference? In economy? I wanted ACIII to be all about Desmond which he's more than likely going to get a few missions. The way I feel about ACIII is the same about how I felt with AC:R which is nothing new. I thought AC:R would have at least more than a few missions with Altair but all I got was what? 5?? And I know this might sound dumb to some people but why can't they for once make one full game about Desmond since he is the main character, not his ancestors. I don't know how to explain it but I'm done with AC. AC died when AC:B came out.

But seriously, I'm looking forward to this. The weaponry and time period are badass. George Motherfcuking Washington, people! I've also read that the assassin's a Native American, which should be interesting further down the road with all the conflict that must be going on inside of him. If nothing else, I'm in a hole too deep with the story. I have to know what happens with Desmond and the Templars. It's just one confusing, plot bending cliffhanger ending after another and I'll keep on taking them until the truth and closure have seen the light. Live by the Creed

I knew I probably shouldn't have said that reference. There's a film called “Team America”, and it's basically these incredibly redneck army guys killing everything in sight and these two YouTubers always shout America when they accomplish something or do something pretty gung-ho in the games they play. It's the stupid kind of funny, really… And seeing as how AC3 is in America, I couldn't help myself. Anyone who has played with me on here recently knows that I share these YouTubers battlecry. I'd recommend you guys check them out. They're called the Two Best Friends or something.

Says the guy who literally bought the same game twice. That's right, folks, he bought Okami HD on release and he believes that it is a superior product to Assassin's Creed 3!! Well from a person who's actually played the game and knows a thing or too about it, I can tell you this: THERE'S A LOTTA FCUKING CHANGE! Almost too much for my tastes, really. For starters, they completely redid the combat system. Counters are now on Circle and when you do successfully counter, time slows to a halt to allow you to decide what method of punishment you will inflict on your assailant. You can shoot him, disarm him, throw him, or normally counterattack similarly from previous installments. Only this time, there's dozens of animations for doing so! Connor uses the environment at a breathtaking level from striking the foe twice to leaping off the wall for a third and final blow, or grabbing an oppenents arm and slamming him into a table or wire holding up a load of crates. He also uses the environment with his gadgets and weaponry. One specific example that I can share was when I saw a poacher at medium range on the ground. I was in a tree at the time and trying to experiment with my new toy, (a dart with a length of rope used to lewer in enemies) I threw the rope dart at him and instead of the predicted result, the dart lodged itself into the poacher's throat and Connor leapt off the tree, rope in hand. This caused the poacher to be hoisted up at an angle in the tree. It was quite possibly the most badass thing I've seen in the entire series. You can also do double counters, use human shields, go through the entire game using a firearm and loads of other improvements not possible in the past games. Navigation's improved, causing less accidental suicides, story length and quality are vastly improved, the setting is the most interesting and awesome to see Templars and Assassin's causing events from my 8th grade history class. I thought the hunting and naval combat would be some lackluster mechanic shoehorned in to give the game more depth (cough, ACR Tower Defense, cough) but they're actually extremely well handled! For hunting you have to actually creep up in brushes of leaves, use bait and traps, and just other things that make the hunt feel like more of a hunt than say, Red Dead Redemption. The steering and naval combat is not as clunky as I thought it'd be. For manning the helm just to sail, you have to take into account wind and other factors that make it authentic and way less boring than what I expected from it. Naval combat is intense. With every enemy shot, you have to brace for cover and both the enemy's and your ship is being slowly torn apart with every cannonball. One last change that I think I should mention is Desmond. Desmond's no longer just a slouch! Without giving too much away, between Animus sessions, he'll be sent out for things such as power sources and artifacts. One mission has him parachuting off a skyscraping crane arm into a fight with an armed Templar! Props, Desmond! Props! So in conclusion, I just wasted twenty minutes typing up improved and new mechanics for AC3. But what the hell?! I love the game and I'll gladly speak on it's behalf since it is the most changed and probably best of the Assassin's Creed franchise. I recommend it for what it's worth… Don't listen to Patrick who hasn't even played the game! Sorry for the novel everybody! Peace!
