That's definitely one of the better CEs out there. My friends and I are getting this day 1. I doubt that my coop dreams are going to materialise and we're all going to be on at the same time, playing as much as I'd like. So I'd like to have 2 teams: my real life friends and the APT guys, and just mix them together if we're short a guy. (Don't worry, my friends are awesome. Me and 1773 would never have completed the near impossible zombies in BLOPS without them) I've planned on being Axton, the “Soldier” class, but I don't care if we have same characters in the match. So if you guys do end up getting this, consider joining up with us if you want, it'll be loads of fun.

I gotta say, I'm getting pretty hyped up to play Borderlands 2 although I haven't played the first. Definitely up there with my most anticipated games too. Probably won't be a day one purchase but I'm definitely picking it up.

So after putting about 10 hours into this game (possibly more), I find this to be just an okay game. Not really feeling the story since it's practically audio logs in the backround, and Handsome Jack isn't all too menacing. He's got a good voice actor, but he's more of a high school jackass than a real threat… 
As for the actual gameplay, the entire bazillion guns thing is more talk than actual show. I understand that there's a point where not every gun can be varied however every gun I've used thus far is basically the same thing, just with an extra attachment or more damage, nothing more  The actual gameplay isn't all too engrossing, since it's shoot this, shoot that which other games do much better, in my opinion… Everything feels slow in this game; button reactions are sluggish and late, melee isn't anything noteworthy (fcuk you, Assassin!), etc. 
Probably the only disappointment with this game that I've had was the Assassin class – I thought he'd be bad ass!! What happened? I was eager to use that sword and to what? Some R3 half-assed melee animation?  Whatever, at least the Gunzerker is a bit more fun to play with. Perhaps the Siren is the best class to use? Axton would've been my first choice if Zer0's sword wasn't so tempting
