Magic Ball Trophy Guide

This guide is just a simple guide showing you the trophies of the game Magic Ball. I have not been able to get the DLC Wicked Witches which also has a few trophies. I will be updating this guide when I buy and download the update.

If you complete all the trophies you can without the DLC, you will get to around 75% so lets get started:

Bronze Trophies

ARRR!
Complete ‘Plundering Pirates’ Episode

Plundering Pirates episodes consist of 25 levels which increase in difficulty each level, this trophy is easy because you just have to play the game.

NI!
Complete ‘Naughty Knights’ Episode

Again, Naughty Knights consists of 25 levels which are a little tougher then the first set. This trophy will again be easy because you are just playing through the levels to complete the game.

25 in a Row
Complete 25 Levels in a Row

The quickest way of completing this level is by doing the first 25 missions because they are simply easier. Even if you get a game over for loosing all three tries, try again when it comes up with the game over screen and continue playing because if you complete the level, it adds to your completed in a row if you don’t quit. So keep at it for about an hour and you will get both 10 and 25 in a row.

500K Plan
Score 500,000 points

500k will be a piece of cake, I personally got this in the first 20 levels but I didn’t get any points from bonus levels. Bonus levels are a quick way of gaining something like 50k from a bonus level, especially the first few bonus rounds.

Millionaire’s Club
Score 1,000,000 points

Getting one million points is a little challenging but if you are going for the 25 in a row, your points from that plus the tons of points from bonus levels should get you there. Just remember not to quit the game and even if you get the game over screen, try again to keep your score.

The Morris Award
Gain 9 Extra Lives

I found this tricky when I first started the game because even though it says get 9 extra lives, this means you need to have 9 lives collected at any one time. Some people think you just need to collect 9 lives over the whole game. You have to be careful when going through the games and if you lose two lives, restart the levels to go back to your started lives tally.

Also try and aim for the present box on each level, sometimes if you are lucky, you will be able to get a heart out of this box rather then just playing through tons and tons of levels.

Bonus Plan
Collect 200 ‘Bonus Points’ power-ups

You receive these bonus points during gameplay but you will see them more frequently in the bonus stages. You need to collect 200 bonus coins in one gameplay, so if you quit, you will lose your stats and will have to start again and this is quite a time consuming one but just stick at it and try and go as far as you can on the bonus levels.

Minuteman
Complete a level within one minute

By far the easiest trophy to obtain, all you have to do is play the first few levels which are very simple and easy to complete. Just keep playing them until you unlock this trophy after completing.

Goodbye Cruel World
5 Killer Skulls Collected

Again, you need to collect 5 killer skulls within one try. You also need to do this without getting a game over. I would do this when trying to get the 9 lives you need to complete ‘The Morris Award’

Silver Trophies

Back in the Chain Gang
Start a chain reaction with a bunch of cannons

This trophy is easy to complete during the first few levels. There is a chain of cannons where you just have to hit one cannon to force the chain reaction. You cannot really miss it but if you do, just restart the level and try again until you get the trophy.

Through the Fire and Flames
Seek out and aid the lone knight in his fight against the dragons.

On level 2-16, you need to kill all the dragons before you kill the single knight, this can be a little tricky but you just need to have good aim and a little bit of luck. Again if you don’t do this, just repeat this level until you get it.

Gold Trophies

Award Winner
Collect all Awards in the game

This is almost like a platinum but you need to complete all of these trophies on one system, so if you log into someone else ps3 and complete a trophy, it might not count, I am not to sure.

Question: Anyone who got that Trophy: “[Winter] I fly only first class”, how do you obtain it? I’ve redone that new DLC twice and it’s the only missing trophy I still cannot obtain.
