Introduction : Its back in the day and you and your friends decide to just chill it out in the good 'ol arcade . And there it is , the retro machine , the classic arcade noices , and before you know it , you just wasted 10 dollars on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles : Turtles in Time .
Now its 2009 , and the classic game has finally returned to your Psn store for a mere 9.99 . With great coop fun and endless hours wasted with friends , this is deffinately a must buy for someone looking for a gamer trying to kick back and have some fun , not to mention earn some trophies .
This is my first guide so cut me some slack , ive observed other guides and ive applied my greatest knowledge and ability to try and get you 100% on this great game . Shall we beigin ?
TMNT:Turtles in Time Re-Shelled .
Bronze:
The inflatible reptilian hero – Get flattened by any trap .
Extremely easy , In the first level you play you will come across a dropping concrete ball , simply walk under this and enjoy the outcome . A flattened turtle and your bronze trophy .
Seen my Bones ? – Get zapped any laser traps or attacks .
Once again , very easy . This can also be obtained in the first level , when crossing a brige there will be a little cutscene action where you ll see one of the main villians climb and start spamming his mega lulz laser . Simply jump in front of this and enjoy the bronze . Have you ever wondered what the insides of a turtle looks like ? Wonder no more ..
Invincible – Complete a level without using a single power up .
Also obtained in the first level . If played right you can get the above along with this without breaking a sweat . Power ups will be the small pizza boxes strangely floating around randomly in different levels , although they will come in handy , these wont be appropiate on the first level of easy mode . Control your craving , another easy bronze in the lot .
Turtle Tantrum – Destroy more than 5 enemies with a destructible object .
A bit more challenging than the above , this can be obtained in level two . Right at the beginning of the level theres gunna be a barrel , thats your main key . Go to quickplay and put it on level 2 along with the Hardcore difficulty , since thise doubles the amount of enemies and to make sure you have enough to achieve this . Simply start the level and make your way , and when you have enough enemies around you simply attack the barrel and watch the sparks fly . Ninja sounds good for dinner tonight ..
Slow as a turtle – Beat a level in less than 3 minutes .
Deffinately one of the more difficult ones , its much easier to obtain this single player and on the Easy difficuly . You ll have to be fast and the choice of turtle can be totally up to you and how you perform with each one . Your best bet for this would be on level 1 or 3 since these can easily be done in less then 3 minutes if played right . Try to pick a character with better range attacks , so this narrows down to Donatello or Leonardo , this way you attack them from further on making you not lose as much health with is need for some bosses , especially the boss on level 3 . Good luck and when completing this , youll deffinately not be so slow now , TAKE THAT HARE !
Lean , grean and mean – Achieve more than 8,000 points .
Basically when playing this game you get certain points for killing certain enemies , coop or not , this must be done on Hard since this multiplies the ammount of points you earn for each kill . Might take a few tries but you will get it eventually , just kill those ninjas and stay alive and all those Tmnt arcade nerds will regret not letting you play .
Staying Alive – Defeat the final boss without dying .
Without spoiling , any major Tmnt fan can probably guess who the last boss is , if not , shame on you . This can actually be pretty hard , especially since every time you die all bosses obtain a little more health every time . The best way to do this is with friends , and on Coop 4 play . Generally try to attack him (wink wink) but also get your friends to do most of the work , since the whole point is to not die and that can be quite hard , Which is why quickplay is your best best since your provided 99x lives . Maybe this time he ll stay in the dumpster ( Tmnt Real life movie reference )
Silver :
Toe Be or Toe not to be – Avoid all traps in level 3
Probably the hardest around , this can be quite frustating . Level three will be the mission where your pretty much surfing in the sewers Michaelangelo style . In some parts small little red spikes will appear on the ground along with clamping doors , easier said thatn done , dodge these . Best bet is to just randomly jump and ofcourse try to dodge , but trying again , and again .. and again never really hurt someone right ? Can you do it ? That is the real question !
Ice ice baby – Avoid all ice traps in level 8
Way easier than the above , simply observe the pattern in level 8 and jump for your life , not to hard , and the bouncing balls dont count so dont quit when squashed . And the trophy doesnt pop up right after achieved so dont fret and quit like i did .
Turtle Power – Complete the game ( Normal difficulty onwards )
Easy enough , beat the game .
I will Survive – Complete a Survival mode game ( Normal onwards )
Also one of the hardest , you must beat the whole game .. without dying .. without any lives as backup . Insane right ? With the best coop partners you can achieve this , power ups are your best friend , good luck , you ll need it .
Gold :
Turtles in Half Shell – Complete the game with all four turtles .
When first reading this you might think this is coop , wrong , it actually means to beat the game 4 times with a differnt turtle everytime . No real explanation on the account that the game is less than an hour on easy . Have fun
