Hey everyone, this is it the much awaited Fallout 3 trophy guide. hoping no one made a fallout 3 trophy guide while I was on holiday because I should be doing around three pieces of coursework and some revision for exams while I’m typing this……..ah well anyway here`s my first attempt at a guide please leave comments if you found it useful or if you have any handy tips you would like to share. NOTE: I had NO internet access while I was typing this (or indeed access to my beloved fallout 3 (so called mate is `borrowing it`) or my ps3! (gimme a break already :_(…} so some of the info may be incorrect or mixed up by accident if I have done any errors please let me know. Oh and another thing I haven’t got a platinum on this I would have but I made mistakes that anyone playing fallout 3 could make so I am going to make sure I explain everything carefully and as in much detail as possible soooo here goes….

vault 101 Citizenship Award
Got the Pip-Boy 3000

The G.O.A.T. Whisperer
Took the G.O.A.T.

Escape!
Completed “Escape!”

Following in His Footsteps
Completed “Following in His Footsteps”

Galaxy News Radio
Completed “Galaxy News Radio”

Scientific Pursuits
Completed “Scientific Pursuits”

Tranquility Lane
Completed “Tranquility Lane”

(you can do this quest without losing karma, search the internet)

The Waters of Life
Completed “The Waters of Life”

Picking up the Trail
Completed “Picking up the Trail”

Rescue from Paradise
Completed “Rescue from Paradise”

Finding the Garden of Eden
Completed “Finding the Garden of Eden”

The American Dream
Completed “The American Dream”

Take it Back!
Completed “Take it Back!”

Ok all the above, or main story trophies, are easy enough to obtain. Simply play the game as it was intended. Do the story in the order it’s given to you basically, because I think it is possible to go straight to rivet city or that freaky vault where tranquillity lane level is located and miss whole sections of the story!

Strictly Business
Completed “Strictly Business”

Right this is one of the quests I kind of screwed up, when you go to paradise falls DO NOT try out your new alien blaster/assault rifle etc like I did, yes it gives you loads of karma but you will auto-fail this quest. I cant give you any tips on how to complete this quest because I haven’t done so myself, feel free to fill this gap in…

Oasis
Completed “Oasis”

Not really hard this one. Only finding the entrance is awkward. the place is North of the map, I think its north east of Old Olney and West of Dave’s Republic NOTE I think (once again I have no internet to check). I chose to kill the drugged tree/bill/George/whatever he called himself I got the trophy though

Big Trouble in Big Town
Completed “Big Trouble in Big Town”

Not to hard again. Just remember to be careful of the mines when your saving the two people (the diths seem to be attracted to shiny mines)

The Superhuman Gambit
Completed “The Superhuman Gambit”

Not to hard I simply talked to robot dude to stop got his suit, then killed the ant lady for her cool outfit. The quest is located in Canterbury commons(I think) which is located east of the map (north of Takoma park)

The Wasteland Survival Guide
Completed “The Wasteland Survival Guide”

The longest most time consuming quest ever! The quest starts in craterside supply with the female shopkeeper. You might get the trophy for talking her out of doing the guide I'm not sure. Oh yeah important note-when you go to the minefield use a stealth boy because if I remember correctly there's a sniper there who you need for one of the quests (called Arkansas), don’t kill him basically, of course I did, loved the sniper rifle until I got the victory rifle man I love that thing…….

Those!
Completed “Those!”

Another long and pretty boring/hard quest, you don’t have to find the boy a house to get the trophy so if your fed up with the lil` brat tell him you cant find a house for him (if you want to be helpful his relatives in Rivet city). I chose not to kill the ant queen but found the best way of killing the fire ants is with the Lincolns repeater (not a shishkebab which was my original idea).btw can’t remember where this quest starts but its roughly east of Megaton and is a place full of fire ants.

The Nuka-Cola Challenge
Completed “The Nuka-Cola Challenge”

Haven’t done this quest myself, I don’t know where it starts but I do know you need 30 quantum Nuka-colas to start it.

Head of State
Completed “Head of State”

Once again I haven’t done this quest either and I have no info on it whatsoever, sorry. Feel free to fill in via comment

The Replicated Man
Completed “The Replicated Man”

Very confusing quest I think the easiest way is to lie to the doc/professor and say the cyborg died (some black, old lady gives you part of the cyborg as proof, think she’s a random event though)

Blood Ties
Completed “Blood Ties”

Not a hard quest just a boring/long one, starts in Arefu. When travelling through the train stations beware of the traps (landmines are not toys, ignore the cool flashy light and beeping sound)

The Power of the Atom
Completed “The Power of the Atom

Simple quest either blow up megaton or save it, if you plan on blowing it up  make sure you get the bobblehead from Lucas Simms house first

Tenpenny Tower
Completed “Tenpenny Tower”

You Gotta Shoot ‘Em in the Head
Completed “You Gotta Shoot ‘Em in the Head”

Right these two quests seem to cause a lot of confusion on the forums when I was looking for help. This is the best method of getting both trophies on one game save without getting too confused-k go to tenpenny tower to see the ghoul outside and talk to the guard inside to trigger the quest ‘tenpenny tower` now when it is dark go to the station where the three ghouls are, they should be asleep, talk to the one who was outside tenpenny tower and eventually you`ll come to the speak option `your a ghoul you should be shot` select it, he’ll attack kill him (no karma loss I believe) then kill the over two who should be readying an attack, report to the guard and duh-duh-duuuuh trophy earned. Now go to the place where `you gotta shoot em in the head` start that quest only kill tenpenny just get the keys of the other three tell the ghoul you killed em (lie) give him the keys you’ll get the trophy. Save the game use a stealthboy and steal the keys back (to get some cool armour, search the internet for more info.

Stealing Independence
Completed “Stealing Independence”

The quest starts in rivet cities museum. When you get to the place he wants you to go try and keep the lady alive (unless you want her rare gun) once you've fought your way through the place and get to room where the paper is agree to the robot (so he wont kill you ) walk behind him, pull out your Chinese assault rifle enter V.A.T.S and take out the robot and two ceiling placed machine guns (Mark something-or-other)

Trouble on the Homefront
Completed “Trouble on the Homefront”

Once you’ve gotten to a certain point in the game you’ll go to megaton and have picked up a new radio station (no it hasn’t got 70`s rock………dam) requesting for help at vault 101 go there, I chose to kill the new overseer (I foolishly killed the old overseer..whoop, I believe if the old/original overseer is there you can talk him into opening the vault door. NOTE if you want vault 101 for a house, flood the place to know how to do this in detail search the internet.

Agatha’s Song
Completed Agatha’s Song”

Pretty boring quest (not much happens), cant remember the location of the start of the quest. But I believe you can earn a black special magnum if you talk to the old fogey  elderly lady correctly.

Reilly’s Rangers
Completed “Reilly’s Rangers”

Starts in the underworlds hospital (the chop shop). Pretty hard quest (I met some insane idiot who put bottlecap mines everywhere outside the place in an alley; he kept threatening to blow himself up and take me with `im……he did). When you complete the challenge chose to have the Eugene (it’s a lovely mini gun…..sigh)

Reaver
Reached Level 8 with Bad Karma

Mercenary
Reached Level 8 with Neutral Karma

Protector
Reached Level 8 with Good Karma

Harbinger of War
Reached Level 14 with Bad Karma

Pinnacle of Survival
Reached Level 14 with Neutral Karma

Ambassador of Peace
Reached Level 14 with Good Karma

Scourge of Humanity
Reached Level 20 with Bad Karma

Paradigm of Humanity
Reached Level 20 with Neutral Karma

Last, Best Hope of Humanity
Reached Level 20 with Good Karma

It might be because im blonde but I got very confused with these trophies. Until at around level 19 I realised what im supposed to do. Karma is based on your actual level. I thought there was 20 levels of karma but no there's only 5 which are-very evil, evil, neutral, good, very good. So when you hit lv6 make three game saves you will probably be good on the 1st game save level up get the trophy. On the 2nd kill a couple of people in megaton to get down to neutral (you can see what you are in stats-general) level up get the trophy. On the 3rd save go wild (you know you want to, after all there is no job to big for a  Fatman or even better the Experimental MRIV Fatman (Man that's a hell of a gun)) get bad karma level up get the trophy repeat at levels 13 (unlucky for some) and 19.

Weaponsmith
made one of every custom weapon

Not to hard won’t say where the schematics are unless anyone needs any specific locations if so post, or message me on the ps3 (PSN id: kingofgames73)

Doesn’t Play Well with Others
Killed 300 people

Slayer of Beasts
Killed 300 creatures

Not hard but like most fallout 3 trophies time-consuming. The beast ones pretty easy but you have to be patient with the human one

Silver-Tongued Devil
Won 50 Speech Challenges

Easy. Simply use the `glitch` at little lamplight with the kid called knock-knock or the other guy at big town (can’t remember his name but it’s the same glitch with easy XP and speech passes)

Data Miner
Hacked 50 terminals

Annoying, very annoying. Haven’t done this myself yet but if anyone wants to post some locations on the map with loads of terminals to hack, feel free (talking bout fallout 3 now don’t want to know if there’s 100s of terminals waiting to be hacked in the pentagon)

Keys are for Cowards
Picked 50 locks

Simple but once again time-consuming. Handy tip when you see a terminal and safe together first pick the lock then hack the terminal thus getting more XP and one step closer (eat your heart out Bon Jovi, good for you if you know what the hell im on about J)to get both the trophies

One-Man Scouting Party
Discovered 100 locations

Once again time consuming. Remember whenever you see a empty rectangle on your radar that means a new undiscovered place.

Psychotic Prankster
Placed a grenade or mine while pick pocketing

Who doesn`t love doing this? If you’re doing this early in the game with hardly any stealth points, simply use the good ol’ stealth boy

The Bigger They Are…
Kill all the Super Mutant Behemoths

Simple enough, kidding just remember to keep on running, Xualuong Assault rifle works well but if you want to kill a behemoth in ONE HIT you need the Experimental MRIV Fatman (Trust me you need this gun!!). Heres the location of the big b******s ;

GNR station-meet him during the main story, no worries because of how helpful the BoS are

Takoma industrial- Hard to get to (a whole army of super mutant masters to kill first!), easy to kill, simply go on top of the lorry underneath the water tower and there’s a switch that calls in an artillery on the behemoth just keep pushing the switch if it breaks you can repair it (repair skill of 65+ I think)

The capitol Building- hard to get to again because of the heavily defended area just run straight for the building without stopping to kill the mutants. Once in there will be loads of behemoths fighting those assassin dudes, kill the left over’s. Eventually you will find a big room with the behemoth. Stay in the hallway (he can’t get you. And kill him with whatever takes your fancy (BB gun takes a bit to long so does the ol` dart gun (I’ve tried for a laugh).

Train station one-cant remember the location or name of the place but I believe if you follow the railroad from evergreen mills you will come across overturned carriages in one of them is a shopping trolley cage with a teddy bear steal it and the behemoth should spawn to get his beloved teddy back (I being a gentleman gave him his teddy back but in a rock it launcher). He will start running in your direction but might get caught up in a fight against some raiders and/or enclave soldiers just explore until you find him.

Evergreen Mills – Quite a fun one this. First go around the cliffs surrounding evergreen mills with a sniper/reservist/victory rifle and snipe out all the raiders (perhaps play the James Bond theme tune in the background?) if you have the Miss Launcher you could fire a couple of rockets in his cage. But the way I did it was top place a couple of bottlecap mines around the cage at quite a distance between them (make sure they are away from the generator thing. Then retreat back up to the cliff get the sniper out, shoot the generator so the behemoth should run out wild and have some serious damage sustained via the bottlecap mines, have the odd pot shot with your sniper and he should be down in no time

Yes, I Play with Dolls
Collected 10 Vault-Tec Bobbleheads

Vault-Tec C.E.O.
Collected 20 Vault-Tec Bobbleheads

Ok here goes time to list the bobblehead locations (yes I do have a lot of spare time) forgive me for not writing what type of bobblehead it is (strength, perception etc) but this is all of from memory and I could get one or two muddled with the books if I have done this sorry. Locations:

·         Vault 101*

·         Deathclaw Sanctuary

·         Yao Guai Tunnels

·         Vault 108

·         Vault 106 or 87 not sure

·         Luca Simms House(Megaton)*

·         Raven Rock*

·         One of the broadcast stations (WKML I believe)

·         Paradise falls-in the pimps house

·         National Guard Depot

·         Bethesda Ruins

·         Rockopolis

·         Arefu- that guy who you start the quest `blood ties` house

·          Dunwich Building

·         Republic of Dave

·         Rivet city-on the lab desk

·         The cemetery (you have to go in via the metro(this was my last bobblehead))

·         Some nuclear waste dumpsite its in the little cabin

·         One of the forts possible either Constantine or independence

·         Evergreen Mills (think this is the last one but I keep thinking there is one in the Oasis, correct me here please)

*=you can only get the vault 101 when your in it, that means two chances. If you have blown up megaton without getting the bobblehead….your screwed I believe. There is only ONE chance of getting the raven rock one, search youtube to see the exact location (actually if your stuck finding any consult youtube or my fine self or that handy fallout 3 website called vault wikia or something like that….man I could have done with that site to check my info ah well too late now im 2,680 words in.

So that’s my guide hope you all like it, feel free to fill in the gaps I have via posts and if anyone still needs help message me on the ps3 (PSN:kingofgames73)

Oh yeah forgot……

It's best to paste it into notepad first, then you lose all html formatting.

with regards to the nuka cola challenge you dont actually need 30 nuka quantum bottles to start it but you need to get 30 to complete it, its located in girdershade i think bottom left of the map (3 and half grids directly below little lamp light)

it's a good guide but i wish he would've posted a link for bobbleheads, super mutants, nuka cola quantoms, etc…just better descriptions of where they are would've worked really lol and maybe tell the quickest way to complete some of the story or side missions. idk i'm thinking about making a guide for this with the DLC in it

Bobblehead locations

The hidden Vault-Tec Bobbleheads can be found at the following locations. Collect a Bobblehead to gain +10 to a skill or +1 to a stat. Note: The map coordinates are indicated by reading each individual square starting from the left edge, first square starting map with rocks. To find each zone, go down then over by the listed amount. For example, Raven Rock (Zone 1.01) is down 1 and over 1.

Stats

Agility: Greener Pastures Disposal, in the small office covered in radiation (Zone 3.06 ; latitude/longitude 07/21).
    Charisma: Vault 108, in the Cloning Lab (Zone: 6.06 ; latitude/longitude: 18/06).
Endurance: Deathclaw Sanctuary, at the entrance on a table next to a rotting Brahmin corpse (Zone: 1.07 -; latitude/longitude -22/20).
Intelligence: Rivet City, on Dr. Li's table in the Science Lab (Zone: 9.15; latitude/longitude: 18/-17).
Luck: Arlington Cemetery North, in the basement on a shelf directly below the stairs inside the house to the north (Zone: 16.03).
Perception: Republic Of Dave, on a bookshelf on the right in the Museum of Dave (Zone: 3.03; latitude/longitude 19/27).
Strength: Megaton, in Sherriff Lucas Simm's house (Zone: 8.03; latitude/longitude -01/-06).

Skills

Barter: Evergreen Mills, in back of the Market Bazaar on a shelf in the upper-right side behind the Raider Trader that does not attack (Zone: 7.04 ; latitude/longitude -18/-07).
Big Guns: Fort Constantine, in the basement of the CO Quarters inside a safe in the wall (Zone: 1.04 ; latitude/longitude: -17/26).
    Energy Weapons: Raven Rock, Colonel Autumn's Office (Zone: 1.01 ; latitude/longitude -28/28)
Explosives: WKML Broadcast Station, turn on your local map. Go through the doorway to the sealed cistern to find it (Zone: 1.11 ; latitude/longitude -17/18).
Lockpick: Bethesda Ruins, in Bethesda Offices East on the top floor near the door to the bridge (Zone: 6.07; latitude/longitude 05/03).
Medicine: Vault 101, on your dad's desk when leaving.
Melee Weapons: Dunwich Building, just before you leave the Virulent Underchambers, on the floor next to the door (Zone: 7.11 ; latitude/longitude -26/-18).
    Repair: Aerefu, in Evan King's house (Zone: 5.07 ; latitude/longitude -11/06).
Science: Vault 106, from the living quarters enter the room all the way in the rear left corner. There is a room with a bookcase lit by a bright light. Search the middle (toward the right) of that bookcase (Zone: 5.12 ; latitude/longitude -09/01).
Small Guns: National Guard Depot, go through the training room and offices to exit from a door to the main room. Use the power switch on the wall to your left, and enter the Armory door, then search the shelves (Zone: 6.11 ; latitude/longitude 18/-03).
Sneak: Yao Guai Tunnels, on top of a metal box in the Den, on the right of the map near some water (Zone: 7.01 ; latitude/longitude -28/-04).
    Speech: Paradise Falls, on a table inside Euology's pad (Slave Master's house) (Zone: 2.08 ; latitude/longitude -09/16).
Unarmed: Rockopolis, go directly west from Casey Smith's garage. Look for tattered banners that are strung up. Use your local map to find it (Zone: 7. C ; latitude/longitude -26/-07).

Super Mutant Behemoth locations

There are five Super Mutant Behemoths that can be found and killed. After they die, they will not respawn. You can find them at the following locations:

Galaxy News Radio Building Plaza: This Behemoth will destroy a wall just outside the GNR building as you enter the area (quest related).

The Capitol Building: Use the west entrance, and go inside the main room. Look on the map. The room is straight down the hall from the entrance. However, debris will force you to find an alternate route there.

Takoma Industrial: Located east of the GNR building at the end of the map. The Behemoth is just north of the factory, standing in the middle of some wrecked cars.

Evergreen Mills: At the bandit camp near Vault 112, a Behemoth is behind an electric enclosure beside the train tracks. When the generator powering the enclosure is destroyed, the Behemoth will escape.

Jury Street Metro Station: Go west until you find a group of crumpled up train cars. Search this area until the Behemoth appears. You will know you are in the correct area if you see a teddy bear in a shopping cart.
