All PS3 Trophies

Hey guys its me Ratchet525, and this is my guide to God of War 3! Hope it helps and good luck getting the platinum.

King of the Hill
Unlock All Other Trophies
-Self explanatory
Releasing the Floodgates
Kill Poseidon
-Poseidon isn’t too hard to kill. At the beginning of the fight hit the 2 pairs of claw like things on Gaia’s head. After that, Gaia will trap Poseidon with her hand. Dodge his attacks and use magic or melee until you get the O prompt. After that, he will do the same thing as he did in the beginning of the fight. Dodge his electricity attack by rolling to the opposite direction and start hitting the claws again. After that, you will get onto Gaia’s hand, slam into the water Poseidon’s chest, taking the real Poseidon with you. Then just do the quick time event and squeeze his eyes in.
Burnt to a Crisp
Acquire the Bow of Apollo
-For this trophy you need to burn Peirthous alive. To do that, get to the platform on top of where Peirthous is trapped. It will lower and then jump into a prison like room and take the vase of bramble out. Push it towards the monster at the end of the area and let it burn the vase. Go back to the platform you use to get to the vase and let it lower completely. An area on top of that monster will open. Go back and jump onto the vase and it will rise you up to the area. Pull the lever and the cage for the monster will open. Fight the monster till the O prompt appears. Ride the monster to where Peirthous is trapped and burn the bramble. After that go and acquire the bow.
Mr. Hand
Discover the secret ‘Hades Room’

Shine Lord
Kill Helios
-To kill Helios you need to shoot him down with the ballista. When you shoot him the lava/fire titan will grab him and throw him to a building. Get to the building and there you will decapitate him.
Shoe Delivery
Kill Hermes and acquire his Boots
-For this trophy you need to follow Hermes. Get to the part when gets onto the statue and hit him with the catapult. After that, when he keeps running around you just keep hitting him until he gets tired. After that rip his legs off.
I didn’t do it… But I wish I did!
Kill the Poseidon Princess
-You find Poseidon’s Princess in Poseidon’s Chambers, asking for help. Free her by doing the easy puzzle and surviving the waves of enemies. After that make her hold the wheel lever and proceed on. Shortly after, you’ll hear a scream. That means she died and the trophy will pop up.
Ladies Man
Successfully entertain Aphrodite
-In the Upper Gardens you’ll find Aphrodite’s Chamber. To get to her chamber you need to rotate the broken bridges to the right direction. Get to her chamber and she will talk about how Hephaestus knows how to fix the bridge. After that she will ask you to stay. Click Yes and you will get sweet quick time event. DON’T FAIL! Or else you won’t get the trophy and you’ll have to do the quick time event again.
Handy Man
Sever Gaia’s hand
-Right after you go through the Hyperion gate and right before the door to Olympia, you’ll be stopped by Gaia. She asks you to save her. But you don’t. Go ahead and attack the wooden part that attaches her hand to her arm. Then you get the O prompt and strike the main wood with the Sword of Olympus. Gaia falls down. After that just throw off her hand and proceed on.
Open Sesame
Open the Gates of Tisiphone
-You’ll get this trophy right after you faced 2 Chimera in front of a huge door with blocks sticking out. Solve the really easy puzzle and then the door will open.
Rescue Me
Save Pandora
-You’ll find Pandora inside the Labyrinth. All you have to do is break open into her chamber.
Three Wise Men
Solve the Three Judges
-You’ll get this trophy after you visited the Three Judges for the second time. Go through the warp gate that you went to the first time you visited and break the onyx behind their head. After you do that to all three of them you’ll get the trophy.
Hit Man
Perform a 1000-hit combo

That is the best location to do it. To do Soul Rip, equip the Claws of Hades and the keep pressing L1+O. DON’T UPGRADE THE CLAWS UNTIL YOU HAVE DONE THIS. Or else they would be too strong and the enemies would die quickly. This would take around 5 minutes, just be sure not to lose your combo or else you would have to restart your checkpoint.
Rip One!
Rip apart 1 Olympus Sentry
-This is probably the easiest trophy. All you have to do is grab one of undead skeleton and grab them (O) and press TRIANGLE. This can be done at the very beginning of the game on Gaia.
Nice Tan
Blind 100 enemies with the Head of Helios
-After you get Helios’ Head just blind every enemy (L2+ tap TRIANGLE or hold TRIANGLE) you see until you get this trophy.
Obedience School
Deliver 50 kicks to Hounds
-To kick a hound you need to go up and grab them (O). Do this every time you encounter a hound or groups of hounds.
It’s getting hot in here…
Burn 100 enemies with the Bow of Apollo
-To burn an enemy you need to hold L2+SQUARE and then Kratos will charge the bow of Apollo, shoot at an enemy and they will get on fire. Do this every time you can to weak enemies.
Souled Out
Summon every Soul with the Claws of Hades
-To get every Soul you need to upgrade the Claws of Hades to level 5. After that go to the upgrading menu and press SQUARE. A selection of Souls will appear. Just choose each one and summon each one, one by one.
Bloody Hell
Cover Kratos in 500 buckets of blood by killing the enemies
-To get this trophy you can just go through a group of Olympus Sentry and keep grabbing them and press TRAINGLE to rip them in half. The blood will get all over Kratos and then you will get the trophy.
No Guts, No Glory
Gut 3 Centaur Generals
-You only encounter 3 Centaur General’s in the game so you will get this during your first playthrough. So just fight them and then do the quick time event to gut them.
Hitting Your Stride
Upgrade any weapon to the next level
-Just collect any amount of needed orbs to upgrade a weapon to level 2 and you will get this trophy.
Sibling Rivalry
Kill Hercules
-Hercules isn’t too hard. Just survive the weak enemies and then he will come to fight with you. Just hit him 3 times and dodge. When he is performing a move such as punching and you’re away from him, use your bow to get some extra hits.
Titan Slayer
Kill Cronos
-To kill Cronos you need to travel around his body. Survive the enemies until he eats you and you rip through his body. After that go break the onyx and make it go through his jaw. After that all you have to do is strike his forehead with the Blade of Olympus.
Retribution
Kill Zeus
-You get this after the third section of the boss battle. For the first section just keep hitting and spam your nemesis whip magic, use rage, doge his punches. For the second part, just keep dodging and hitting him until Gaia appears. For the third part keep combat grappling him (L1+O) and hit Gaia’s heart for health. Also, kill Zeus’s clones for magic. After the third boss fight and the first person fighting part you’ll get the trophy.
Hooker
Kill Hades
-Just keep dodging his sweeps and go up to him and hit him. Don’t let his ripped off body parts get to him. After you get his weapon, just keep dodging again and hit him. Swing behind him for some easy hits until you get the O prompt and steal his soul.
Freezer Burn
Acquire the Boreas Icestorm
-To get this trophy you need to kill the mother scorpion. Break the onyx on her legs with the Nemean Cestus. Then rip off the tooth and continue to break the other legs. For health grab the small scorpions and rip the tails off. After you break the onyx the circle prompt will appear. Do it and then the scorpion will turn to ice. Break the ice and then the stinger will remain. Break the frozen stinger and the Boreas Icestorm will be there.

Maxed Out!
Completely upgrade all the weapons
-There are 2 ways to get this trophy. One way is to actually upgrade everything to max level. Or you can just glitch it. Which one would you choose? To glitch it you need to do the Challenges of Olympus (See Up to the Challenge trophy). Go to the combat arena and set Kratos’ health to level 1 and the difficulty to Titan. Set the enemies to enemies you can kill easily and then die 5 times in a row. When it asks you to change the difficulty to Easy say no. Then the Maxed Out! Trophy will pop up. To add to the glitch, start a new game on Titan mode and you will have every weapon from the beginning of the game at level 5. This will make Titan mode MUCH easier as you can get to some chests earlier in the game since you have the Head of Helios since the start of the game.
Vengeance Complete
Beat the game
-Just beat it on any difficulty it doesn’t matter. The trophy will pop up after the credits and the last cut scene. Upgrade weapons to kill enemies faster and use the link I gave you to find the gorgon eyes, phoenix feathers, and minotaur horns so you can last longer through the game.
Up to the Challenge
Beat the Challenge of Olympus

Beat Titan Mode
-To make Titan Mode easier use the glitch that I mentioned in Maxed Out! Also use the guide for the Gorgon Eyes, Phoenix Feathers, and Minotaur Horns to get your health, magic, and item upgraded quickly. Remember the moves for the bosses so they won’t be too hard.

i really hate that there is a glitch to start titan mode with all weapons maxed out. makes it a lot harder to really see how awesome the fight mechanics are for this game and also makes it where any noob can beat titan mode lol. not like its that hard anyways i guess..

For the Maxed Out…Don't glitch it.You can do it on God(Normal) very easily.

BTW. Where was this guide. I remember posting to it when you 1st made it Rat, but I couldn't find it when I was playing through it again. Cory told me it wasn't in the guides section for some reason?

tbh, I don't know. I haven't kept up with APT that much. Sorry if it was nuiscence.
