the other page called Stopping one gold short has some good crushing tips.
I will also be doing crushing tips on my site when i get round to it.
the key i think, is to know where the enemies are coming from, and where. by doing this, you enable youself to find good locations to hide behind and such.
also, make full use of the L3 button to switch shoulders, rather than hiding behind a corner.

like shadeblack said there are tips on stopping one gold short. After chapter 6 it gets easier and try to concentrate one enemy at a time.

95% of people use martydom on CoD4. If you need to die to get a kill you need help.

i don't find Crushing that hard to be honest, just takes more time, and you have to think and plan more. its a good challenge!

Conratulations!
I myself am already struggeling at “Hard” (Level 4, first big battle) but I haven't tried really hard yet. I just got demotivated after dying 4 times

Your dying alot because you either don’t use cover or are popping out of cover for too long. Try popping in and out of cover quickly firing 3 or 4 accurate shots a time.

THX for the tip. You're absolutely right. 8) The easy mode can be completed ramboing yourself through the levels and for the normal mode you already need a little cover. But hard requires cover and a little tactics which I definitely will try tomorrow.

I had major trouble getting the last trophy for crushing, but I finally did it, and can offer some hints about the really hard ones.
1) In that very hard battle in the cistern, you don't have to drop down at all. Just backtrack outside to the Jeep, and when you return they will all be running around down there. No sweat.
2) For the final battle outside the sanctuary, get the bad guy's attention, then run back down the corridor the way you came. Take out the ones that followed you and and carfully pick the rest of them out from safety.
