Ignore the guy above. I really liked this game.
The combat mechanic is clever and intuitive, and the medals extend gameplay considerably (as you need to kill every enemy, speed run each level flawlessly, and even beat each level with a score lower than 20!). If you are a completionist, this game mixes it up enough that you actually want to get %100.
I would highly recommend trying the demo, at the very least.

regular controller is supported as well as a guitar controller. However, if you ask me, the gameplay sucked. Definitely try the demo before you go buying this one. For a “musical game” the music was really horrendous. As in, jab a pen in each ear so I don’t have to undergo the torture of hearing that crap any more.

Tridon : It was said on the PS Blog that there’s a demo coming for this tomorrow, as well as the full game. I’m willing to test it before the purchase, especially considering how I’m curious of how an adventure game will work with guitar controller.

am i right in understanding that are saying that you can use a gh/rb controller to play it? now im curious, is it actually coming to uk psn anytime this year or is it a US only for the time being

This could be alright… That De-tuned was p!sh though, but then again wasn’t really a game as such. I’ll be watching this one.. Let’s just wait and see if this really is “a fitting definition for an experience with all the trappings of a Super Mario Bros.-style game” or another turd…
