Everyone knows Mac OS-X and Windows operating systems, but now Google is getting in on the action.

Google is working on their own operating system, andare going to compete with Microsoft.

What do you guys think? Can Google make it? What is the best operating system?

I think, so far, Mac OS-X is the best.. cant wait to see this google thing though.

I pretty much hate every pc operating system that exists… they all suck in one way or another, so google has a good shot if they get things right. It has to allow for windows designed programs or mac designed programs to be compatible though, or its going to be really really limited…. and its that compatibility issue that keeps me on windows… dammitahell! sometimes I just wanna go back to DOS but theres no friggin GUI!

I doubt they'd get too far against Windows, because the issue of compatibility.

the google operating system is based off linux. whether you like it or not, google already has the upper hand.

Google will probably be successful. i have faith. However, i'll probably stick with Mac.. for now.

the new googl osis going to be based of the google chrome browser.They are mainly targeting the netbooks,due to their research they did telling them that most people with netbooks are running windows xp with the chrome browser. They are not sure if they will move into the desktop or full laptop area with the google os. The best part about it is that it will be free to get the google os.

Google should make there own version of Microsoft office… So it wouldnt have to be compatible…

Google Word, Google Excel, Google Publisher, Google Powerpoint etc

I do actually hope they add some form of compatibility with windows based applications.

but either way i still look forward to putting it through various tests.
