Yeah I agree with you, but I think most if not all future games will have trophy support.

The problem with that is that Sony isn't requiring developers to include them. MS made it a requirement from Day one that Achievements be a part of the game.

It seems like there's a pretty good sized list of games coming out in the future that'll have trophy support.

Yeah I just updated the trophy support list: http://www.allps3trophies.com/trophy-support-list
with the latest confirmed games, 16 of the 18 games added to the list will have trophy support for sure. So that's pretty good.

Well, yeah they should be standard. But the trophy system is still relatively new, so to have the trophies on older games, you would need to have each game patched by their developers, which is something I'm guessing a lot of them can't be bothered to do. So we can only hope for future releases to have them, and that's if the creators want them in their games in the first place.

The list looks good for trophy support; pretty much every game I'm looking forward too will for sure or might have trophies.

Is there any news that Infamous will support trophies? I think that it probably would since it's a PS3 exclusive.

ya i want trophies for all games

it would make them alot more fun… and id sure as hell play them alot more for the challenge of getting trophies!

I heard that sony doesn’t require developers to add trophies like MS do for the 360. They put trophies in the games if they want to.

ya but apparently by 2009 Sony will make Trophies manditory, or so iv heard.

Having trophies for ALL games would be cool. It would stop trophy whores from buying games just because it has trophie. XD

Correct me if I'm wrong but I have in mind that Sony said all games released in 2009 (and further) MUST support the trophy system. I think that's very good because that's the only way to compete with the 360's Gamerscore and most of the game do feature a vast reward system (Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 for instance) which can't be that hard to additionally to be transformed into trophies.

Yes, they used a similar way to Uncharteds trophies. Games available for 360 shouldn’t be to difficult either.But do you actually get anything for ‘levelling up’ like unlockable content in Home?

Exactly – at the time, I don't even know what HOME will actually be good for (except from looking neat and stuff) so I'm just waiting for without really looking forward and see what's coming.

I just hope that other games will be patched without forcing you to replay the entire game (unlike Uncharted).
