Memberhmm… I could have sworn I read an article no more than a month ago that stated it was planned for ps3… thats dissapointing… but yeah, there are plenty of other great games coming our way. And as far as computer games go, many are compatible with both, but generally there are issues. Most windows compatible games can be DOS launched, and I'm pretty sure you can rig an apple computer with a DOS launcher, although I've never done it. Any way, I'm pretty sure this was in development for PS3, so perhaps microsoft pulled their “we're desperate for good stuff so we're gonna throw a truckfull of money at you to delay the PS3 release for a year” classic move. Like they did with BioShock. Bastards.

Just to let you guys know, it has been confirmed by Sony themselves that they are looking into cross game voice chat.

Membersome people are just stubborn. It certaintly explains the 360's good sales record. Oh mine broke, better get a new one. Oh it broke again! better get a new one. oh it broke a 3rd time, geez but I love it soooooo much, better get a new one. Exactly why I'm glad I invested the 600 fat bills in the PS3 originally, sucked it up and dealt with it,,, and hey, what do I have? My original PS3 still working beautifully. Never have to worry. But hey! If it weren't for these people, we wouldn't have microsoft providing competition in sales to motivate Sony to provide such a good product, and for that I thank you 360 fanboys! YEAAAAAAAYY!!

Memberso… reply to parnakas above… don't feel like quoting.
Agreed! on all points, spot on. The combat will mix up more, EVENTUALLY. its mostly square square square, and the counter w/triangle. you can get through it button tapping but once you get a certain upgrade, timing your hits really counts. Eventually you will face knife wielding enemies, you have to hit circle to stun them. Eventually you face shock baton wielding enemies, you have to double tap x to jump over them, and hit from behind. When you have a mix of normals, knives, and batons, and guns it gets a little crazy trying to tap the correct buttons at the right time, and its more fun. Since I'm only maybe half way thru, there may be more variations coming…

Memberso I know this is really really off topic but… someone decided to take apart the new PS3 slim… check it out:

A bit of a modern marvel getting all that tech in such slim unit.

Memberso wait… pokemon have thumbs? I'm not sure… can they win a thumb war?
BigWoopMagazine
MemberI remain extremely skeptical… any game based on a movie or tv series… well we all know how that goes…

Memberso… in video game world, thats like golden gun mode. one hit kill, even if its in the torso not the head. I'm sure they would wear body armor,,, so bleeding out the gut wouldn't really apply unless its a shotgun at point blank range… any ways tho, this is where video games and realism hits a wall. At what point does it get too realistic, and no longer fun? Theres no way its realistic to find health packs and be instantly healed, or that you can take cover for 10 seconds and recover from three bullet wounds… but getting shot once and bleeding out is no fun. It could work as an extra extra hard mode…
BigWoopMagazine
MemberI guess my main thing against it is… well theres almost never just one guy. Theres a bunch, spread out. Sure you can see the one you're aiming at, what about the rest? And were I in a fire fight and couldn't see, I'd take cover and wipe that shit off my face real quick… and when was the last time you got injured and you're vision got blurred out by blood dripping down your eyes? Although thats what they're going for, I don't see it as “realism”. Its just an effect. EDIT: but hey if you like it, maybe I'm just being picky… hah

Not a good thing for anyone playing the new batman game
Ha – I don't have that though. the shower curtain thing – yes. When I was little I always used to think a monster or alien was going to come out of the drain and eat me. Then they made a movie about it (don't know the name, but the ads alone freaked me out).

Memberyea,,, learn from your competitors… well what worked? oh that dual wielding thing that was cool… Well what doesn't work? oh well that faceless main character with no depth and a couple “clever” one liners.. yeah lets not do that (oh wait, they did, minus any lines).
Has anyone seen the “splatterfest” video yet? Here's a link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOILQeyO5P0
Notice about a third of the way through,,, when you get shot, the blood splattered on you looks like jelly… I dunno about you guys, but I hate when games do this, just gimme the damage indicator, so I know where I'm getting shot from. This stuff is incredibly distracting and just… ugly. Here's hoping they edit that out for the final cut.

Membernot sure… insania's cough cough might be a good hint there. Perhaps testing new 3.0 features, and maybe trying to work out any bugs w/cross chat etc on the network. I'm not too worried, batman all night once I'm off work, I could give a crap less if the network was up. Nice to know my router isn't the problem though
