can you still play this game with the controller cos i prefered th to skate as it was crazy and if there going all realistic im gonna stop buying skateboarding games full stop just skate properly if you care about realism
while hard to make sense of, I think I agree with you. This is getting to the point where you could just go out and spend your $100 on a real skate board. At least then you can feel the pain of failure and the motivation to get better.

MemberYeah, didn't we discuss this while playing fat princess? we wanted a fat princess team, since it works really well if you organize with your fellow players. too bad theres no clan tag option in that game

MemberCountry, Pop music, and eminem.
I like certain rap, but if all it says is F this and F that poppa cap in yo ass, well, screw that. Good rap – Tupac, Common, Beastie boys… yay.
Any teenage disney music sucks.
Monotonous techno beats. the ultra repetitiveness drives me nuts. Good beats – Hot Chip, Sound Sector 9, Prodigy, Nine Inch Nails… uh,, ,somewhat…
Emo sucks – its punk rock's gay little brother.
Metal is a touchy subject for me, its hard to describe why. Some of it rules, and some of it sucks. Slipknot sucks. They do have a good drummer, but I'm not going to like their music because of it. Between the Buried and Me rules.
parnakas – you don't like smackin' some booty around? I know I do. I don't need to make a rap song bragging about it, but hey, its a good time.

MemberYea, I'm not sure where this petition is coming from either. I just checked the gamestop website where I have my reserve and it says $59.99 USD, which is what every other ps3 full retail game has been releasing at since the dawn of ps3. Which is what you'll pay for batman, assassin's creed 2, uncharted 2, bioshock 2, MAG, and pretty much any other game you're looking forward to. Can't afford it? Rent it. Deal with it.
If you do want a cheaper game though, check out Mini Ninjas, it looks like it might be pretty fun, and for some reason is priced at $49.99 USD. Yay,,, just like back when I owned a ps2.

Memberyup, and MGS1 is still my favorite. I'd play it again, and skip the hours upon hours of movies. Not getting my hopes up for a trophy patch though… it would have been easy for them to do it a while ago by just making each emblem a trophy, I don't see why they'd do it now.

MemberYea good stuff… good graphics good voice acting good gameplay mechanics. I think combat will be expanded past just the square button, since theres triangle for counters, and it looks like circle does grabs… wasn't there supposed to be some kind of upgrade system in this game? Its also very tempting to just play the whole thing with the detective mode on, I'm surprised there isn't more limitations to that. It seems almost too easy, so I'm curious about how they'll make it more challenging as you progress. …. Aug 28th? Gamestop has shipment listed as the 25th, so I'm hoping to pick this up the 26th… I'm even going to take a half day of work for it, hah…

MemberThey mention on their website a number of changes planned…
- Failed Game Connections
- Lag
- Hosting Problems
- AoE Scoring Exploits
- Stalemates
- Missing Princess (on certain levels)
- Dead Hat Machines
- Scoreboard Issues (only top 1000 scores shown)
- Ranking System Problems
- Changes to Ranking System
- Changes to Scoring System
- Stalemate Breakers (e.g. – Finite Cake, Slim Fast Princess)
- Server Lists
- Clan Management
- Hosted Servers
- Class Balance
- More Classes
- More Class Upgrades
- More Maps
- More Modes
- More Sports
- Even Fatter Princesses
- Unbelievably Fat Gargantuan Princesses
Thats straight from their site. However, the patch they are working on releasing right now will only address critical issues, such as hosting and connection issues. The rest of it will be in future releases, and no day has been announced yet for either. I assume the critical patch is on the as soon as possible basis, but it will need to be tested before release… so… maybe a week? hopefully?
Also – I seem to be a sir on average with the ranks, and I feel like if you're above this you're just spamming for points, and aren't being a team player. I would just ignore it for now, and enjoy the game… since the rank doesn't really give you anything anyways.

Memberyea I like tech. I'm picking Raven, I don't really see why you wouldn't. If I wanted to look like a dirtball and have crappy things maybe…

MemberStarting with the easiest:
Tomb Raider – easy easy platinum, this game is still really easy on the hardest mode
MGS4 – learn the enemy patrol routes and you'll have plenty of ammo for the boss battles.
Uncharted – persistence is key, this game is pretty good about checkpoints.
RE5 – get unlimited ammo for the shottie, magnum, and rocket launcher. Get a good partner.
Dead Space – ammo is very limited, enemies do a ton of damage, you're in a confined space… ahhh RUN!
only one I can't comment on is wolverine, I never played it…
RE5 and Dead Space could be interchangeable… The Ndesu boss fight in RE5 is a royal pain, and its near impossible without a good partner.

MemberI like CoD4, but not such a fan of WaW. I mentioned this yesterday in a different thread, that they took the game engine, which was the difficult part, and replaced all the good stuff with crap, made some crappy servers, and added in tanks, which creates a pretty unbalanced online experience. CoD4 was the shit tho, and still would be if it weren't hacked. The campaign wasn't the greatest, but the online was.

Mirror's Edge. I was blown away when I saw the trailers which made the game look perfectly fluid and the graphics looked incredible. I ended up only playing it as far as level five and even that was a chore. The gameplay was painfully dull, the storyline impossible to care about and the graphics are the worst I've come across. Stuff looks grand if you're running past it but stop and look at it and it's muck. Very bland muck. I ran past a truck at one stage and I had to turn around and go back to look at it, it was so bad. It looked like it had driven there from my PS1.
wow really? I'll admit the graphics weren't top notch but I really liked the gameplay style for Mirror's edge. I always like games where the characters acrobatic abilities turn the level's arcitecture into a puzzle, like PoP or Tomb Raider style, and taking it from first person view point really made it a unique experience.
CoD5 sucks compared to 4. Plain and simple the entire problem with it is exactly what you use to defend it. All treyarch did was copy the game engine and map their own stuff over it. Having the big part done for them, they could have done much better. The clipping on the maps (campaign mainly) sucks, their servers blow, the weapons are lame, and adding in tanks and no other vehicles creates and extremely unbalanced experience. The only cool things they did was adding the dogs as a perk, and the zombie maps. considering you toss an extra 10 spot for each map pack, its just really not worth it at all.

Memberwelll what are yours? I'm going to exclude psone classics since technically they're psone games… otherwise bump ff7 to the top.
1) WipEout HD
2) Fat Princess
3) Pixel Junk Monsters
4) Pixel Junk Eden
5) Blast Factor (I know there's better shooters on it, but this is the one I got and theres been like ten re-iterations of it since,,, how many times can they rehash asteroids and get away with it??)
