One thing MK9 must 100% avoid are those stupid 'infinite combos'… Wtf, eh? I'm not a massive fan of fighters, but I'm definitely getting MK… Probably anyway
And i hope that my time spent in the 'practice area' actually learning how to 'master
' my chosen Char. will show when i come up against a player trying to 'b!tch me up' using 'cheap' tactics… And i crush them with my skill!!And the 'Rep' system might work well for those 'rage quitters'
Take your beating like a man and take the loss… I've seen the trophy list and some of the 'ranked online' trophies seem tough, and pretty much encourage 'spamming', boosting and all the other bad sh!t that goes on. The 'Turtle' trophy looks stupid!——–

Watched Four Lions the other day… Pretty funny
I love most of what Chris Morris has done, be it on the Radio or Tv – the hilarious Brass Eye… The political, satirical and sometimes just plain stupid comedy elements are blended well in amongst a 'hot-topic', some might say, and all with a poignant back story…

I think the 'Play the MP six months after first playing' (Determination?) trophy from Crysis2 pretty funny TBH…
Started playing Bayonetta from scratch again… I forgot you have to play normal to unlock hard, and deleted my saves ages ago
It's a good game though, underrated slightly?? A ton of stuff to buy, find, kill and complete… Looking forward to the Alfheim portals again It's better than the last DMC game anyway

It's stupid… It's the kind of ridiculousness that goes unnoticed by everyone except those who remember MK from the 'good old days'. I personally though this was going to be, essentially, an amalgamation of everything good from 1993-1995 revamped for the 'new age' for all the fans that have stood by through some of the sh!t that has followed from the first few games…
This is a tactic to shift 'units', caused by the downward spiral of what MK was… And because of the pathetic 'tameness' of MK V's DC, Boon and Co. have had to do something to convince people that MK is more than some tired old fighting game that won't sell. Add a Char., however unsuited to the original game, that everyone under and over 25 has heard about, who's known for being brutal to prove that the gore and 'super violence' is back and BOOM – game sales based on nothing more than that, and a mass of interest at even the name… Kratos aka cash cow.
Personally i think it's a step to far? Everything was, IMO, perfect as it was… Adding simple new things like X-ray moves and Char. damage, bringing back/keeping things like 'super' violence
and proper fatalities whilst keeping things out – like re-setting before rounds – is exactly what a 'proper' MK needed on the Ps3 to bring it back from the dark…
And yes i do realise very few people care, and those who do will still buy it regardless… For example me. But it just doesn't make sense and he looks, IMO, out of place… He doesn't have a place in either camp. It's stupid!!

Looking to get my Plat. for Alpha Protocol this weekend… A very, very average game, but i found it pretty fun to play through.
It's pretty grim to look at and feels very dated, but for a game I've heard is very buggy i myself have only came across one (I fell through the bottom of an elevator and got stuck at the bottom), the story is basic, but the story options available do change it up a little for re-playability value…
