MemberThat's true about the music… The only reason bought it on disc was purely because of price. It seems strange it cost's less to buy the game with the inclusion of – the plastic box, instructions, map and disc. Along with all the added cost of producing the before mentioned.
I think if i had new beforehand i would have parted with the few extra pounds just to get the old soundtracks though. I have my own 320GB (298GB) HDD so the 18GB DL wouldn't have worried me but surly people with a 80GB SKU must be getting close to full. All the patches and save files soon add up.
Haven't played it much but I've noticed the bike back tyres are bigger for a bit more stability, i was dreading the slightly crazy bike controls of old – push forward and turn into the corners… I would always say disc over DL, Because it won't get lost or corrupted in any PS3 meltdown.

is there really a point of mentioning David Guetta? I mean, he doesn't do anything, he always gets someone else to sing the songs for him.. Im not insulting the song or anything, i just don't understand this guy..

He produces the music… He's a DJ.

N64 – MarioKart64 – on the desert racer level, there is a glitch that will allow you to ride the train track and not get hit by the train – thus shortcutting every one else and winning the race easy. Not game breaking, but pretty damn cheap, and breaks that level.
That was a shortcut in Mario Kart. Almost every level had one. I'm genuinely baffled that you thought that was a game breaking glitch.
Next you'll tell me the cave on Koopa Beach was a glitch. Or the road revealed by the tide.
I would have to agree with this… The only shortcut i might argue was a “glitch” would be the massive jump you could make off the first hill on the track and land about half way around on Rainbow Road.

MemberWatched – Bunny and The Bull
Nothing like i thought it would be… I thought it was an out-and-out comedy but it turns out it's somewhat of a serious film with comedic elements. The story follows and explains the mental health issues of the main char. (not bunny).
I think a few people will fail to “get it” and think the film is a bit if a fail. As with all film4 films, the budget is not that big but i think the set's, and overall style of the film is very creative and clever. If you like watching films like Videodrome, Naked Lunch, Alice in Wonderland, Labyrinth etc. then you'll prob. enjoy the film… But like i say, it's not a full on laugh out loud film…

MemberAnyone who bought this game, me included, and wants a little help with the “trying everything once” trophy – here's a link to a pretty decent… Well it's not really a guide guide, but it does have pic's of the diff. vehicles and rough co-ordinates or description of where you might find it.

doubt it man, doubt it. itd be a system firmware update. itd have to be
No it wouldn't because all they would do is have the paid DLC to use it and they could have a firmware update but not let people use it till they pay. It's a pointless feature anyway so I hope they spend their time on something more worthwhile.
@ XxTATOOxX
This wasn't a dumb post, just not that straight forward…. I think what Miiiitch meant was that Sony would bring out a new firmware for everyone, but have perhaps a new options list in the PsN store for “premium” services or whatever. You wouldn't actually be DL anything except an “unlock code” because your Ps3 would already have the ability to do it anyway.
Similar to when games (Res. Evil 5, AC2, Soul Cal.) have locked content, but it would be your Ps3…
**EDIT**
This option would also save the need of a FW down-grade as the feature's would simply “lock” themselves again. It seems like a much easier system to work with, but Sony have a history of trying new thing's, only to go a little “tit's-up”

MemberI think it would be pretty easy for Sony to release a Firmware DL to individual Ps3 consoles… Just like they've been able to ban individual consoles. Through code redeem or something, giving access for the new firmware? Then after a year or whatever, it would prompt you to enter another code or force a FW down-grade to the standard srvs?
In a Firmware update for the UK last year i was able to get BBC i-player but others in diff. parts of the UK didn't. I remember someone from Ireland (i think) telling me they would Sony would never release I-player only for parts of the UK and not it all… After i had DL the firmware… So it's not like Sony can't bring out diff. firmware's with diff. features.
Time will tell i suppose? But i think i'm right, lol

Member“Think about it” – Seriously?
Sony want to release a premium service with services that will make people pay for it… And make people who aren't paying for the service, really want it. The Ps3 has been out long enough IMO to have implemented a cross game chat system already, not like it's something people don't want, eh? This is the kind of thing Sony will be inclined to include in such a service, to make it seem worth the money.
And it could easily be downloaded to individual consoles, much like DLC – In, hmmm, a “premium” service firmware update perhaps?

What does this actually taste like? If that's not a silly question… I had a look online and see that you can use it for cooking. Any good?
Don't get it in the UK but i could import if it really is that good?
