Lol… I played that game night and day for bout 4-5days… It fried my brain, i forget, my mistake…

In that case just try the re-install?

After my first play-through the game started spazzing out… Kept glitching when i sat down to finish the pic. of the house right at the start…. Had to delete then re-install…

Perhaps this would work…

 And if you fight troy but take the “triptocane” or whatever it's called when prompted, it won't count as the “fight” – you need to fumble the button combo and drop the vial of goodness… Then the fight will begin, if you get out the car that is…

That's pretty much everything i could find about it… Everything else is about the Ps2 os PsP versions…. If it's all of them (Metal Slug's) it would prob. be on a disc = Retail game…

You would have to copy all the data from your old Ps3 onto a external HDD then back onto your new PS3…  Just like RB… But you would need to get your old one fixed to be able to do this anyway…

Takes ages (depending on amount of GB) —> massive pain. But it would copy everything over….
