Fire Emblem on the Gamecube was absolutely class! I never played it but my housemate had it and I spent days watching him play it.

MemberI'll add ye both later lads.
And for anyone else that needs this, my PSN is I773D33MAB13 (it's slightly different to my name here)

MemberWarzone 2100 on the PS1. Still the best strategy game I have ever played and one of the few PS1 titles that still holds my interest.

MemberLBP didn't even require the same effort as MNR. You just had to play other people's levels and that was always going to be fun.
I think one of the problems with MNR is that apart from the few novelty Karts/Mods people aren't going to DL stuff to actually use. I don't know about you guys, but I like racing the Karts that I've created myself. I think tracks are the only real option for heavy DL traffic.

MemberEasy mode appeals to my lazy streak but I'm never a fan of a game becoming too user friendly. It's the same attitude being implemented across the whole gaming industry. They're trying to make their games approachable to even the most casual of gamers so the learning curve has to be nice and easy.
It makes perfect sense from a business point of view but gamers that relish a challenge don't want to see their ten year old neighbour picking up the same plats as them in half the time.

Thanks lads. The game actually wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I was expecting to spend days on Elite but I got through most of it in pretty short order. There are a couple of parts that are nightmare choke-points all right but patience, planning and copious amounts of swearing will see you through.
The hardest part by far is the final battle against Radec. He, himself, is actually not that difficult but the waves of Helghan before him are Hellish. I died more times against them than I had done in the entire game beforehand.

MemberWhat do you mean they dumbed down everything else?
I773D33MABL3
MemberI'm actually pretty happy with that. I had decided I wasn't going to bother with the online trophies but this patch will make me go back.
You still need a couple of hundred downloads and races but it makes it achievable. There are too many games on the market to expect people to dedicate themselves to one for months.

Does the disk keep spinning in the console? Does it actually show up on the XMB?

MemberKillzone 2
- Difficulty: 8/10
- Estimated time: About fifteen hours for the SP and 50-60 for the MP.
- Playthroughs: 2. One to get the collectables/no deaths and the second for Elite difficulty.
- Online trophies: Yes.
- Difficult trophies: The weekly honour ranks. Coming in the top 1% takes a serious dose of intensive MP.

A more relevant statistic might have been the number of PS3s sold in the US. It’s just under 12 million which means nearly 10% (rounding up) of American PS3 owners bought the game. For a title that’s in no way a blockbuster that’s not too bad.I773D33MABL3
MemberI wouldn't worry too much about Tommy going off-topic. There isn't exactly a discussion going on here to be derailed. There's a few spats earlier in the thread already and things got back on track when they burnt out after a few posts.
And Tommy has a point. It's bloody irritating to come onto the site, see a clump of threads with new posts and then click through them all to discover two word responses that add nothing to the discussion/topic at hand.
Chances are, if you're opinion isn't worth typing, then it's not worth hearing.
'Transilvanian Hunger' from the album of the same name by Darkthrone. We're keeping it cold today…

MemberI know that some games don’t let you copy the save files individually but if you do a full system back-up then they should be copied along with everything else.
Are you saying that Rock Band doesn’t allow copying even then? -
