This is such a fight thread waiting to happen.

It's not so much the servers themselves that are an issue, but rather the match-making process.

If the match-making criteria is quite strict then getting a room can take a while. I don't think either Uncharted or MW2 have dedicated servers which means they're both relying on peer-to-peer hosting.

There are far less people playing Uncharted so when you search for a game the odds of getting a good match quickly are low. MW2 has such a massive online community that finding a compatible connection happens a lot faster.

And before anybody takes the liberty of starting that thread up; please don't. There's too many old crusty gamers here that can't see past Lara Croft's badly rendered boobs.

'A Starved Horror' from the album Gin by Cobalt.

I'm pretty sure I've referenced tracks from this album before but it is just so unbelievably good.

I bought it a year ago and I have listened to at least one track from it every single day since.

Any metal-head that doesn't own this album should rub his face in broken glass as penance.

Spain play tedious football. Self proclaimed “true football” fans can hark on about the “beauty” of Spain's passing game and skill all they want. It doesn't make it any less boring to watch.

If all the passing led to solid chances on goal I wouldn't mind but they still only managed one goal in 120 minutes against a side that had been reduced to ten men.

When they beat the Germans it was with a goal from a set piece so all their possession and “domination” meant squat.

Alonso gets it hard but Picque had a harsh tournament as well. At one stage he had a plaster on his head, a mouth full of wool to stop his gums bleeding and still got a kick in the bollox!

De Jong's tackle was a fcuking joke though. Players have seen red for tackles half as bad as that. It was actually a bit unfortunate Heitinga got sent off as he hadn't committed nearly as many fouls as his team-mates. But that's what happens when you give that shit Iniesta an opportunity to dive.

I wouldn't blame any decisions by the ref for the goal (I think it was the missing defender). He did make a few blatant errors in the last few minutes but I don't think any of them led to the goal.

In truth, if the ref had been as strict as he should have been all match then the Dutch would've probably had about seven players and would've lost 5-0.

The counter scores the kills okay but it has two totals: one for the party and one for each character. It's my own characters total that counts.

The problem is that when I meet a large group of Darkspawn my party members each kill some too so I'm really only getting 1/4 of what I meet.

Fcuking disgusted.

Neither of the teams tonight deserved to be world champions but while the Dutch are a bunch of dirty b*stards, there is nothing in the game of soccer that I hate more than diving and Spain were absolutely pathetic. No-one could walk within five yards of Iniesta without the little shite hitting the deck and Xavi kicking the legs out from under himself in the box was just laughable.

People will talk about the lack of sportsmanship from the Dutch but at least they're honest with their fouling.

Spain don't foul much. They just cheat.

I assume by “fun” you mean good games without any grind-fests?

Both the Uncharted games are excellent without being too difficult to complete.

Dead Space is another straight forward plat and the game is one of the best out there.

If you have a friend that you regularly play games with then you should both pick up Borderlands, which I think is easily the best co-op game going. Co-op games, in general, being a lot more fun.

A game to keep you occupied until F1 and GT5 might be Motorstorm: Pacific Rift. It's hard and does take a bit of time but if your into racing then you should get a kick out of it.

I never trade in games. Some of them I'll never play again but I'm a bit of a compulsive collector and I hate to let anything go.
