Bye bye to the chicken dance!! Nobby sold for a fee believed to be in the region of £3-4m just because we wouldn't give him a £55k p/w contract for 5 years while he would most likely sit on the bench for the remaining 3. Personally I'm gutted as I don't wanna know what'll happen to the team spirit as his leadership skills were key as captain! Also, I hope him leaving won't effect the decisions of other players (namely Colo, Enrique, Jonas and Barton). Anyways, good luck to him at West Ham, I'm sure he'll lead them back into the PL as he's that good for the Champo.

On the other hand, Ba is set to join us IF he passes a medical. Bit worried about his knee but nevertheless on a free he would be a great signing. Just hope we get Gardner, N.Taylor, Erding, N'Zogbia/Barnetta and Matuidi now!!

First signing of the season completed for us: Yohan Cabaye. It really is apparent why he left Lille, with players like Gervinho and Hazard also tipped to leave, they have no chance of replicating their cup double success. Coming to a team with a cracking and large fanbase, with a brilliant stadium and city I don't blame him. We're on our way up now, up the toon, bring in a left back, centre back, winger and striker now Pards!

Lots of transfer rumours going round of late, eh? Not necessarily all rumours though, as it looks like P.Jones will be going to Man U and Henderson will be going to Liverpool. Also, Newcastle have agreed to sign Cabaye from Lille and are waiting on Taylor, Gervinho and Gameiro. Not a bad start to the transfer window!

Sadly, I don't think FIFA will get the official Champions League implemented into manager mode or just as a mode itself because PES currently has the license for it. We might just have to stick with the “European Cup” for now!

As I've said many of times, FIFA definitely DOES warrant a new release and not just an 'update'. Say what you like but there were major inventions added to FIFA 11. I'm not gonna go into much detail because I'm sure most of you have heard this before but;

– Personality+ made players act on FIFA like they do in real life, giving them exquisite detail in attributes such as shooting, dribbling and ball control etc. If you think reviewing most players in the world and giving them seperate personalities is easy then you are wrong. – Be A Goalkeeper

– 360 Degree Fight For Possession

– Specialities and Flairs

– 11v11 Online BAP

– Pro Passing

There may be more as well but that's all I can remember atm. Personally I don't mind paying the £40 when this much is added/updated and the games are more than up to scratch (check Metacritic, I'm sure it got like 89/100).

You didn't offend me and I don't mind that you have problems with COD and don't like it to some extent, it's just that your opinion was a little over-repeated when we all took notice the first time and you went a bit far when speaking (mocking) about those who played it.

Anyways let's just forget about this and wait to see some more trailers to see if it has improved eh.

Great end to the season! Disappointed we couldn't hold a 3-0 lead which would've got us 9th place but nevermind.

No offence to any Brummies out there but I can't wait to see what they're like in Europe next season even though they'll be in the Champo. Same (I think) applies to Blackpool who have supposedly claimed a Europa League spot through fair play.

Also, some good news may be coming the toons way with the signing of an international centre-mid nearly completed whom hasn't been named yet!
