MemberIt's actually being played on the PC on High settings or something. Think I saw it on IGN's website?
But yeah, it probably won't look as good as this but it'll definitely blow us away on consoles. Just look at Battlefield 3

MemberWas surprised Emdeepee didn't start this once the game was announced? Lol, Em's always on top of this stuff.
Anyways, the game looks phenomenal but am I the only one looking forward to Rising: Revengeance more??
Personally, Raiden is one of the best characters and he's the dark hero I've always wanted in a story. Have to finish up MGS4 before Rising: Revengeance comes out!
Need that game done before I can move forward in the franchise!!

MemberHad a great gaming day today. Managed to get the Foxiest of the Hounds and Pacifist trophy in Deus Ex in 1 day!
Just need side missions, EBooks, 50 hacks, and the weapon trophies for the plat. For some reason, after I saw that Doc thought it was easy, the game felt easier to play and those 2 trophies were a breeze. Should finish up the list by next weekend or so. Hopefully I'll buy the DLC soon??
Anyways, started Dear Esther last night and it was pretty interesting. It's not phenomenal but it's definitely different from the stuff I've played. Instead of shoot this, infiltrate this, and eliminate a certain target, the game is just walking around an island and possibly the main character narrating the story?
Not sure but it's interesting. Only 4 levels and I'm quite surprised. I'll finish it up in a few days then I'll see what other indie games interest me.

Definitely. I suggest having multiple save files before conversations and side missions. Some of the conversation choices in the trophy guide I used (PS3Trophies.org) didn't work at all and I didn't save before then. Upgrade your cloaking, hacking: capture, Icarus landing system, and the high jumps before the end of the game. Also, if you can, upgrade armor, Typhoon mine system, and the multiple takedowns because it'll save you on boss fights and stuff. What I would do if I were you is to save before right when you get the side mission, continue to get through the game, then come back and do those because hard mode can be pretty difficult. Hope this helps… Good luck, I773.

MemberAfter realizing I didn't have the right augs, didn't pick the right conversation for the police station, and not having saved before, I now am just going to attempt the no kills/no alerts playthrough and go back for everything in a second. Wtf….

Carly Rae Jepsen – Call Me Maybe
Yeah, I know. I'm a guy and this is one of those songs, if you know what I mean? Anyways, it's a little catchy or whatnot and hell, who gives a damn?
I love that song too!
Oh, really? That's cool… Lol

MemberAlmost finished up with PixelJunk Shooter's trophy list; It's a fairly easy title to 100% but I wouldn't call it “fun” although I might have had some
. It's a great time passer, IMO but it isn't that spectacular, if that makes sense?
Although that $1 was well spent
Was going to start up Infamous but realized that I might not have a printed out map for the shards so I'll postpone that until that's settled.
After PixelJunk, I'm just going to move back into Deus Ex: Human Revolution and finish up the trophy list. Going to try and get all the trophies not related to no kill/no alerts in my 1st playthrough (or 3rd if you count it as an actual playthrough and not a trophy run (although it is fun with or without trophies)), then my second playthrough will be no kills/no alerts and also my final for the plat.

MemberI know this game is old and the thread aswell but I actually enjoyed the campaign but not that shitty story… One of the most disappointing games of 2011 for me because of it's lackluster and unemotional story. It was action-packed and fun from start to end but nothing more
. No character depth, no emotion to characters dying, not being able to feel that there's no hope left, absolutely nothing from it more than an action game. Literally.

MemberI thought you had liked Skyrim?
Anyways, I thought this game was relatively boring and every time I try to play it on the PC (played a little on PS3), I can never get into it. Oh, and is it me or is every sidequest the same?? Locate this thing, walk a long time, find a dungeon, kill this and that, then return for a reward? Bullshit…

MemberRecently received some free indie games for the PC and haven't got the chance to play them. Though, one particular game: Dear Esther, has kept my attention since it's initial release (forgot when…) and I'll probably play that this upcoming Friday night or something. Hopefully it's as good as everyone says??
Despite putting in a few hours into PixelJunk Eden a few weeks back, I never finished the game and kept replaying the first level as it had me on the edge of my seat and the soundtrack was fantastic! Going to play it sometime…

Finally got around to watching Ghost Protocol and whilst it wasn't a bad film it didn't really live up to the hype for me and was probably no better than the last one.
I liked it alot but it's definitely NOT as good as M:I:III in any way.
Saw The Raid: Redemption a week or two ago?
Anyways, just a great film and pretty tense at some parts. And while the story wasn't really present, the little snippits of it that were there were actually pretty interesting and kept me wondering what was going to happen next. Oh, and don't get me started on the ending scene. Just BADASS in every way.

MemberHad a good gaming day today. Managed to finish Dead Nation's trophy list (main game) and started up PixelJunk Shooter.
Shooter so far is pretty good and well worth my time (and the $1 I spent
). It's nice to just hop into the game and not having to pay attention to anything or remember what just happened in the last mission. Usually listening to hilarious podcasts as I shoot away cave monsters!
Going to finish up Infamous soon. I keep restarting the game so I can have a feel for what's going on but this time I just said, fcuk it. I'll just finish it up then collect the shards as soon as I print out the shard map!!
Oh, sh!t. I have to play through again through Hero
. Stupid powers…

MemberDead Nation
4/10 (Due to the difficulty at times but experience is key!)
Very fun game and enjoyed it besides co-op on Grim. Not the run-to co-op game but if you want something to play with a friend for a bit, check it out.
