if something disspears, it's usually a case of either: a string of random, or malicious code; or Bad HDD (bad sectors, health or fitness of the drive).
If it were me, and because I can, I would take the HDD out, put it in a PC and run some tests on drive. and also try to access it from windows.
oh well i haven't played condemed, so i can't comment on that. All I know is that the game accomplishes what it sets out to do. just my opinion, but I'm sort of wondering what the trophies will be like for this one. odd to think about really.

the ps3 has a voucher and subscription system, I assume if you had a demo voucher, you would subscribe that voucher with a code, and it would allow you to download it.
but everyone is doing them, so I have to do them as well. lol. I know what you mean about getting the medals quickly though, because I find myself getting them simply by playing around.
i got a trophy by getting into a tank and driving into the sea off a cliff.
I would, but im completely bored with the songs on GH III now. I truly wish you could put your own songs on there, and have the game generate a pattern.
