Killzone 1 was on PS2 I believe, and there was a very good PSP game called Killzone Liberation.
gametrailers.com have trailers.
that's all well and good. but i don't want a trailer. they often depict a game of what it's not.

Participantno idea. sorry to hear.

Participanti guess it's worth a try if you know what you're doing. i would advise full anti-static equipment… and a repair level of 50. lol.

If you get the problem with the blu-ray drive thing were your ps3 cant read disks (not that i have it) is it just the blu-ray laser or something else???
it doesn't really matter. products like disc drives are class 1 laser products and should not be opened or tampered with. a problem with the drive needs to be repaired, whatever the problem is.

Participantthis thread is already made: http://www.allps3trophies.com/forum/upcoming-retail-games/sega-mega-drive-ultimate-collection/page-1
anyone it's not been re-made into full HD. it's just a HD filter to make it look smooth. either way, i preordered it long ago. i can't wait to play all those classics again!

Participantor if you live in the UK, you can get cheap internal drives here: http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/6-/Search.html?searchstring=ps3+hard+drive&searchtype=PCSH&searchsource=1
getting external drives are fine, but you need to drag it with the ps3 everywhere you take it, so it's not a particularly good solution, more of a temporary solution.

Participantstrange that you've gone through all of that. in my own experience, all of my sony products in past have been nothing but quality, and have never has a single problem with any.
I've said this in another thread… But I actually prefer Samsung products – i've always wondered what it'd be like if Samsung made a games console… One can only imagine.
Anyway, I'm not gonna get involved with argument here. You should do exactly what you want, and I indefinitely respect that descision. good luck with your studies! 😀

those ratings are bullshit if they think violence comes from games, they have to go to a fucking shrink. violence is everywhere.
for me gaming is an outlet, it takes away my stress. and the blood gore isn't that high, bad langauge you hear or read everywhere. why the heck not in games?
I think you might have somewhat missed the point… Age ratings are standard protection for the underaged. although there is now some conclusive evidence stating violence does not affect video games or their users, presenting a 18+ horror to a 12 year old can still easily cause some emotional trauma.
Many games are quite capable of delivering paranoia, hightened states of cautiousness etc. to people; Particularly the underaged.
I believe they're guidelines above anything else. lets not forget that the legal issues involved state that the parents are allowed to buy it for you as long as they understand that the age rating is there for a reason. a 17 year old is not alllowed to buy an 18 rated game because it has potential to cause minor emotional trauma to them.
Others will argue a teenager knows exactly what they can do, are capable of doing and or watching etc. But the truth is younger people are far more susceptable of absorbing bad imagery. with video games becoming more and more realistic, the imagery on screen becomes easily augmented into one's vivid imagination.

Participanti'it's a shame to see someone so angry at something when not understanding the current circumstances fully.
seeing as how you're american, you should already know that it's economy has been depleting quite rapidly for many years. not to say other countries aren't – the UK is currently under quite a similar crisis as of late.
However, I think your descision to have neither consoles is wise. If I were you, I'd focus on those studies so that you don't end up trapped within our countries current, and more than likely future problems as well.
But just because you had some bad luck with a piece of hardware doesn't mean the company sucks. you're a fool to think that. we can all hide behind our opinions but facts can't be denied. I strongly doubt Sony will be going out of business anytime soon.

Participanthahaha. yes, indeed it is!

Participantim not saying there is anything wrong with using guides, but i prfer to play the game first, then use a guide later if i still need something when i've finished it. i got about 40 trophies without using a guide to begin with.
i just think they are not needed and that they take a lot of the fun out of playing the game. the time i spent getting the last few trophies while looking at a guide was NOT enjoyable.
