Modern Warfare was an incredible game. I never bought World at War because I was never a big fan of Treyarch's work. However, I did rent it a couple weeks ago and it was excellent. Blows all expectations away. Plus it has Kiefer Sutherland. How do you top that? Anyway, after playing WaW, I've come to the decision that Activision will not do wrong with Call of Duty games any longer. I'll be purchasing all future installments as long as it sticks to a one-a-year basis. If two a year start coming out, then you can count me out. For example, there's 6 Guitar Hero games coming out in 2009… how ridiculous is that?

Sony has been my #1 pick since the original Playstation but I've always had a sweet spot for Nintendo as well. The NES, SNES and N64 were all amazing systems and the Gamecube was a deadly little system that just never had the support it needed to survive against Sony and Microsoft. I never bought a Wii because I knew I'd never be able to get into the gimmick of “moving around” to play a game. However, a gimmick is what Nintendo needed in order to take back their crown and I don't really blame them for taking the gamble. If the Wii would've failed, Nintendo would've been done with consoles and probably would've just went handheld-exclusive. I for one find the DS to be a more enjoyable handheld over the PSP. So, to break it down, I'm glad the Wii did well for Nintendo because it'll keep them in the game a little bit longer. I will not buy one but I'm glad others are. Without Nintendo, I doubt that there ever would've been a Playstation or a Xbox (even though that would not have been much of a loss). With the Wii, you're either going to love it or hate it. I know I would rather sit and play a game with just my fingers but I also know my family loves the Wii (my sister has one) because it's nothing too high tech. Okay, I think my rant is over now.

At the moment “one word games” and similar threads are treated as “post boosting” threads. Even if that wasn't the intention of the creator of the thread.

I'll look into adding a forum (or some kind of chat) just for word games and extremely off topic chatting where posts aren't counted. There you can go bananas if you wish

That is pretty cool emoticon. However, it does kinda look constipated. Basically, with the emoticon, this is what you're telling me: “Don't try to figure out my secret identity… you're making me constipated… you wouldn't like me when I'm constipated.” Well, too bad, l8scent! I got lazy though and shortened the late to l8… and regret it. Everyone always misreads it as 18.. and then make hoolarioussss jokes about how I'm a cheap knockoff of 50 cent.

Continuing on that note, I once got the last laugh when someone said “Haha 18 cent! Looks like you're 22 cents short there!” …. haha because first of all you can't read. and haha again because if it did said 18 then you still can't do math. if you could do math you would know I'm 32 cents short.
