they say this game has trophies then i pay 10 dollars to find out it doesn’t have trophies.what’s the deal here?

Hi bigjoejgde sometimes you have to wait for the game to be patched (an update) for the trophies to be in the game and live. p.s Age Of Booty owns if you like strategy!

the trophy patch went up for a little while and then was taken back down. i guess they encountered something they didn’t expect and are probably trying to fix it right now.

it looks like a nice game. I’ve always loved Capcom, so im optimistic about it.

Wow, this really sucks. I was hoping Sony would make sure a gold trophy was actually a challenge to get. Then again, I never played this game beore, so maybe these are all hard objectives. Not sure If I want to buy this game at all….

There must be a problem here. Each game is assigned a certain amount of trophies, this bypasses the limit by far. Judging by my math, those should all be bronze, except for one, which should be gold.

i read that the platinum trophy was a rumor.supposedly capcom told ps3 fanboy to write that this game would have platinum so more people would buy the game.again this is what i read.it doesn’t mean it’s true.but it could be the reason that they took trophies away for right now.

i think they took it away bcuz it had a very high trophy value, * The HIGHEST trophy value for any GAME ever released, so they probably thought it wasn’t fair, but there are people who already got all the trophies and the platinum, go check on youtube

well sony better find a way to give us our my money back because there was allot of people that bought this game for a cheap and easy way to get a platinum

jesus guys this is NOT the higher point value game ever made.
the point value for this game is 76 (below a normal blu-ray game)

e.g. prince of persia has a point value of 82.

and… sony won’t give you any money back.

I got the game after the initial patch so I have trophy support, but it hasn’t synched to my profile and it hasn’t for my friend either. I’m hoping that they are just fixing a bug that wasn’t allowing synch, and will bring back an updated patch later. I can’t imagine they would just say “oh, we decided to get rid of all the trophies”, but then again this is Capcom….

wow shadeblack on the xbox vs ps3 post you sounded like you never get mad in any post’s guess i was wrong.but you gotta understand that a whole lot of people got this game for a platinum trophy.and are now screwed.the majority of ps3 owners dont care about how easy or hard it is to get a platinum trophy we just want it.so if you can’t uderstand the frustration we have of not getting a chance at a platinum for this game.then i don’t think you should be on this forum at all!!.

I for one think that games like this wil ruin the value of the trophy system. A PSN game not even worth 20 dollars should not be allowed to have 10 gold AND a platinum trophy!
It is ridiculous!
I for one am a gamer who likes to work hard to get his gold/platinum trophies…..it gives me a sense of accomplishment! If games come out with trophies like this that seem easy to get then they will ruin it!
I think the 2 silver for this game should be bronze, most of the gold should be silver and the others bronze. And that platinum should only be a gold!
I hope they took the patch out to fix what im talking about. If they ruin the trophy system i will not be happy!!!!

I suspect that the trophy list / grading is either a) incorrect and they’re now changing it, b) was correct but they’ve changed their minds and now they’re changing it…
Either way this is a fun game and worth every penny – trophies are a bonus – remember it’s the game you’re paying for…

I had the resistance 2 trophy bug so i can’t get a few of the trophies. so please don’t lecture me about frustration.

I also bought this game only to obtain the trophies, but let’s face it. it wasn’t exactly £40 now was it? I have every faith in capcom and sony that they are simply sorting out some random bug they encountered.

I am a trophy whore and proud. I have 2 platinum trophies (COD WAW & DEAD SPACE) and i earned them bolth the hard way. Its crazy that they’re giving away a platinum trophy just to sell cheap game. If that is the case every came should have a platinum trophy that way all your know that you know how to buy a game and they can count how many games you have

hey 00popa i to have a platinum trophy from burnout paradise and it wasn’t easy or real hard to get.and that’s the way it should be.i don’t think that only hardcore players should only get a chance at a platinum.allot of trophy games make it real hard to get the platinum.and i among others don’t have the interest or time to get a certain online rank or kills online or to beat the game with one weapon.people have lifes you know.so yes i hope they do put atleast a couple games a year where we non hardcore gamers get a chance for platinum without it seeming impossible to get.

The trophies for this game are over valued, I would bet that is why they currently won’t sync. Capcom and Sony are probably trying to work out a new set of values and how to push those values out to those of us with the game. Probably in the form of another patch.

Platinums are supposed to be hard to get and not everyone that buys a game should feel they have a “right” to get one. So far the games that I have played have pretty good (but hard) requirements for their Platinum trophies (so far I’ve managed to get 6 of them). There really is no reason for Sony to feel they need to approve a “couple of games a year” with “easy” Platinums. If you aren’t willing or able to put in the time or effort to “earn” a Platinum, what makes you think it should be just given to you? Keep up that sort of thinking and next you’ll be saying you should get a Platinum simply because you bought the game.

If I were redoing the trophies on this game this is what I would do:
1 – Get rid of the Platinum
2 – Leave King’s Pardon as Gold
3 – Change Old Salt and Freebooter to Silver
4 – Change the rest to Bronze

That brings the value and difficulty of the trophies more in to line with what they should be worth.

we all seem to be forgetting that the point value of these trophies are perfectly fine and under the value of a normal bluray game.

The problem is they’re offering all that gold for easy challenges. Your supposed to earn your gold. For those people out there who are winging they don’t have the time to play games like us ‘hardcore’ gamers to get the trophies, we do have lives tyvm! Were just good at gaming!
And if your not going to spend the time and effort to earn your platinums then you don’t deserve it, just play games for the experience then. We don’t need trophies to enjoy our games…..i just like to hear that sound it makes when u get a trophy! lol

I suppose your right theonehotdog. Just like the late boomer and shock and awe for super stardust HD….now they were hard….but only silver! And the gold one was way to easy to get.

it doesn’t just say complete 1 easy challenge. it says Complete ALL easy challenges. who knows, maybe there are a lot.

it’s worth a gold if you put the time and effort into completely ALL challenges. I think so anyway.

the trophies for this game don’t work is it getting a patch can someone help me out?

There are only 7 challenges in each difficulty level.
The easy ones are very, very easy. Not worth a gold for sure.
Only the 7th one of the medium challenges is at all difficult.
The hard ones just start to become actually challenging.

Offering 4 golds for completing 21 challenges (of which at least 13 are easy to complete) does seem a bit excessive, doesn’t it?

The patch for the trophies was live for a bit, then taken back, because it was making online play impossible or something. Kinda alike SuperStardust in the beginning. They had to recall the patch, because it didn’t work or messed stuff up.
It’ll return eventually..
