Some of those trophies are going to be solid. Ive got about ten of them so far… but reach zone 50??? its going to be a “luck” thing more then anything else. The AI is quite hard on skilled, never mind elite!.
awesome game though. the HD-ness of it is amazing and Zone just shows off the colour capabilities to the max!

Trophies shouldn’t be about doing everything perfectly.
I did it, but only after 2 hours of repeating it.

HOW THE HELL DO YOU GET ZICO!
i did like 30 laps and my best lap i ever got was close to 34 seconds without missing and speed pads or hiting any walls, how am i possibly going to shave 4 seconds off? any tips or cheats? AND also the barrel roll “FlatLand Flyer” is really dumb, how on earth can u get it?

you can do flatland flyer near the end of the track. get on the speed arrow at an angle and it will lift you in the air. do racebox speed lap on moa therma and you get plenty of chances to do it.

wow. er…. i currently hold the global record for vineta k reverse on phantom speed at 21.48 seconds. hasn’t updated yet. but the number one poistion there atm is 21.78 or something. i feel quite chuffed about that. will probably be beaten at some point tho.

60% is a lot of the trophies for this game. all the bronze only give you about 25-30%

I bought the game today, and I think it’s crap. I don’t see how you can be good at this game .. Especially when you’ve got the newby auto-pilot thing on. It does look cool and pretty tough .. I just think that €18,- is too much for it.

how can you complain about a great game for 19bucks? Not every game has to be easy to be good.
Game is a remake of a classic. It’s in HD has lots of levels has online play and a ranked leader board. Game also has trophy support.
That being said, the game is freaking insane difficult! but thats what keeps me comming back.

So far myself, sherdy and germaneagle are interested. All you have to do is earn some loyalty points in single player mode to unlock a second livery (paintjob). when in a multiplayer game we all choose this alternate skin and then we get the trophy.
In addition we can take turns taking eachother out 2 times in a single match for those who need it.

There is a SECRET skin, it is a platinum finish for ALL the ships, but you dont need 100k loyalyty points, you just need to get a medal on EVERY campaign mode event, i believe it can be all BRONZE

I’ve not managed it so far but I’ve got a good method:
- Do a complete lap of the track first, use your boost as close as you can to the finish line before you start a new lap.
- Hit all the pads possible, including 2 of the 3 in a triangle shape halfway round the track.
- Take the higher section near the final straight and switch pilot assist off here if you use it since it just bounces you off the sides and slows you down.
- Use your boost near the end of the higher section and barrel roll before you hit the ground.
This is all I have so far and im still over 2 seconds out, if anyone has any other tips, feel free

To CaptainshiZ and anyone else who hopes to beat zico
-keep pilot assist ON while on the long skinny stretch
-use your boost as soon as your craft stabilizes at the start of the skinny stretch
-about a quater of a second (0.25 seconds), after hitting the 4th (last) boost on the skinny stretch, immediately turn left off the side, do a barrel role, and land on one of the two speed pads. it’s not hard to do but the problem is keeping a straight line after all boosts are in effect.
my time is between 32.2 and 32.8 (cant remember specific)

ok, i have all kinds of corrections for my last post regarding zico. i´d really appreciate it if a moderator could delete my last post and remove this line of text
Beating Zico
these are in order from the moment you begin your lap:
–keep pilot assist OFF at all times
–use boost as close as possible to finish line
–hit 3 speed pads on the very first corner
–after the 3 speed pads beyond the 3 on the first corner… try to think about where this is… right where the ground starts to slope up before the drop to the very skinny part… use your boost just as you hit the base of the small upward slope, while holding the nose of your craft to the ground, do a barrel roll, and land on the speed pad in the skinny part while still holding left from the barrel roll.
–at the top of the alley, when you hit the speed pad at the start of the right turn, wait a little under half a second and HOLD the joystick to the full left… you will hit 2 of the 3 pads around the corner.
–STAY on the inside of the corner until the instant you need to pull away to hit the skinny straight away before the finish. make sure you pull away smoothly
–begin to turn left off the side of the skinny straight away right before you hit the 4th (last) speed pad (make sure you hit it), do a barrel roll, maintain an absolute straight line into (and after!) the speed pad on the right side.
my time is now at 31.71, and i believe what´s holding me back is the fact that i can only (reliably) get ahead of my ghost by hitting 1 speed pad on the first corner (ironicly)

i just managed 32.59 using ur above method sterist. although i didnt manage to do a barrel roll onto the speed pad on that run.i would have got a slightly faster time, i think i missed one of the speed pads on the first corner as well. but thanks for ur help.

congrats on beating zico. I’m at 31.28 i think. I can do parts of it, but never a perfect lap. e.g. if I get 4 barrel rolls, I’ll miss the 5th one. and when I miss the fouth one, I get the 5th one.
I need bling brigade and kill 50 online oponents, but I have a feeling that it will take too long to do. so instead I will simply play a couple games here and there, rather than play through it a whole day in attempt to get it.

KRAS52, many of those people have the trophy already, so do I. I created a new account at the new Brazilian PSN, so I’m playing the campaign again. I think I can get all the medals fast, as I already mastered the gameplay. So you can add me to your friends list for we get trophies!!

may have to take you up on that indiana! i’m working away at them a lot recently but some are obviously quite tough/near impossible, others just take lots of time ie. 100,000 points. can’t believe you got the platinum!

i expect im too late >_< but if anyone is still up for “bling” plz add me “shindubhe” 60% completion. getting zone 75 was freaking awesome took me a week but i got a gold trophy for getting all skins XD
