I really want to see a list of the trophy reqiurments, i have 101% complete and all the paradise awards, BUT the only thing i need are the CHALLENGES!!! i have 245 done, i dont kno if trophies will be based on challenges aswell such as
100 challenges - Bronze
200 Challenges - Silver
300 Challenges - Gold
420 challenges - REQ. for Platinum

Roly is correct, burnout is going to be one of the first games to be Retroactive ( meaning you can get all trophies if you have a save file already) - this is because burnout has a special way of saving, it saves on your NETWORK too.. so it blocks anyway of cheating, And it has been confirmed by criterionGames, that trophies will be retroactive - THANK GOD!!!

Just went to CriterionGames.com and i found out that the motorcycle pack will be released SOON, But They pushed the trophy Update untill After The Bike Update or the same time, It said
” we’re hard at work on our Playstation Trophy Pack now. This will be followed by a new island location, more game modes and some unbelievable new vehicles.”
This tells us that it will be before the Eastwood”Island” Update but after the DAVIS “Bike” update.

The trophies for this were pushed aswell as the bikes, i would guess that bikes will come out mid september, than it will be followed by the trophies either late september or early october, But NOTHING is coming out for BURNOUT on AUGUST

I’m glad someone’s got their priorities in order. I’d much rather have free motorbikes to ride around on than arbitrary and (as far as I can tell) worthless achievement trophies.

I have to say I am disappointed in the trophies for Burnout.
Reason: They are far too easy to achieve.
Hell, They made the trophies easier than the in game challenges!
Although it would have taken a lot more work, I wish they had something like:
Gold: 102% completion
Gold: Complete all 490 Online challenges
Gold: Get a 10million Stunt run.
Silver: Get 50 online Rivals
Silver: Takedown 1000 people online.
I thought Platinum trophies are for Hardcore players…
Now everyone and their mother is going to get a platinum from this game.
Oh well. I’m just bitchin because i think Eden and Stardust trophies are harder to get than these easy ones.

Everyone stop complaining they will be easy to get lol. Man Its about time they make some that anyone can earn and a have at least 1 trophy. I bought Eden a week ago and wanted to throw the PS3 through the dang window. You can’t a trophy for nothing on that game what a waste of my 10 dollars. Novastrike is another. HARD to get trophys which I only could get 4 and I can’t pass the 4th stage I’m stuck. So thats another 10 bucks WASTED and I sold Burnout months ago after getting as far as I could on it just shy of my Elite license. So I might pick it back up after they release the patch as they say this Thursday I ain’t believing Crap till I see others say it released. The game Burnout is way to hard in General you can’t look two places at once and thats where the game is STUPID. You can’t look at your mao and drive at once. The farther you get in its gets where you can’t get any farther well for me at least I’m a Racer type gamer. I race Online to games like Formula One and ranked in the top 500 and Won over 300 online races of like 400 ran on that game. My average points scored are 8.7. You get 10 points for winning and 8 for 2nd. So where do you think I finish mostly 1ST LOL. I play Nascar 09 Online Won 1 race and lucky for just that one. We have MANY noobs on that online game wrecking you 24/7 when your leading about to Win those dang CHEATERS lol. But All races online that I didn’t Win on that game is Top 5′S so thats good for Online with that hard game lol. Anyways Enjoy that these trophys are easy Warhawk made it easy to. All you have to do is go online Create your own room ONLINE not offline. Make it so it has a Password for others to enter so no one bugs you and do Split screen and control both controllers thats how I got most of those trophys cause trying to get them playing againt people online you will never get many at all. Every dang time I respawn I’m killed no chance for nothing! So I made my way around getting my money worth on that gamne earning those trophys my WAY lol. I should get a trophy for figuring how to get around playing againt others online for most of them. Anyways when this patch comes out its a day 1 buy again for me. Burnout trophys here I come. I’m at 49 trophys so far. looks like this and BUZZ will help me add more LOL. PEACE PEOPLE!

I myself will never buy another Criterion product. This has got to be the biggest travesty in video game history. I dont have a lot of free time (married & Job), but I specificially put bought this game and put in 100 hours to get the trophies. Achievements are fun for me since it gives me something small to work on given my little free time. Now I have to do it ALL over again? No way. Why don’t you just backup your game save to a memory stick, delete the one on your PS3 and then do the game over enough to get your trophies.
Then you can delete the game save data again and restore your old one from the memory stick. That way you wont have to do all the challenges and other stuff not required for trophies

Well it took about 13 hours but I just got all the Burnout Trophies except for that stupid one that requires a playstation eye. My friend said that getting all the burnout trophies in one day would be ‘impossible’ , but I showed him that having no life (for today at least) makes the impossible possible
thx fuzzy for the suggestion of backing up my original Burnout save. In the process i found out A GREAT FEATURE!
I made another login account and when you go in to view your saved game data from the XMB bar, you can choose to ‘copy’ it over to the other account. This acts as a backup, so that when i am done I can login to the other account, click ‘copy’ game file, and it will transfer to my original account.
COULD THIS WORK?
If you were good friends with someone you could have their account be the ‘alternate account’ and you could send a game save over to his/her account with one challenge to complete before the burnout licence. Then you could login to his/her account and play the game and earn the trophy for them as well.
I was going to test this out, but then said ’screw it’ because I don’t want him having all the trophies i do

Good lord people we all buy games for one reason and thats to have fun. Different strokes for different folks. Some people are all about the trophies, some all about how fast they can beat the game, some just want to drive around and enjoy the sights. I personally will be starting all over again cause I want to say I have some trophies and I agree with the sentiment it will be cool to have my own niche in the HOME society where my trophies are displayed. I’m not making you come and see my trophies nor is anyone else and even if you don’t live in the U.S. posting on the web is still freedom of speech so everyone is entitled to honk their own horn. If you don’t like what they are saying SCROLL to the next comment.

I’ve done that before super stardust HD. I have a couple of my friends and family member accounts on my ps3 because we all share games we download from the psn. I got bored one night and decided to play stardust, only to realise that i was playing on my bro’s account and ended up getting him some trophies for it. so yes, that does work, but he doesn’t have all the trophies I have… he just has the one’s I got for him. in other words, each account is linked to their psn and as the same is with Burnout, you can only get the trophy as and when they accumulate whatever they need to get it for that account.

I had already played it on xbox 360 and gotten almost all achievements but now that PS3 has trophies I started playing it again on PS3 yesterday and I got about 60% of the trophies already. I know is silly to play it again but I am so glad PS3 has trophies now. I am now going to be buying a lot more ps3 games.

The PS Eye trophy is required to get the Platinum. I was at 87% and the only trophy I had left was the mugshot one so I borrowed one from a friend, got the trophy and it gave me 100% Platinum.

Does anyone know if it is possible to get the “Send a Mugshot or Smugshot” Trophy by using other cam than the PS Eye? My Microsoft LifeCam NX-6000 works in the PS3 but not in the Burnout Paradise game. Is there a trick to use it? Thanks.

Keeler91, make sure you have downloaded and installed the update that provides trophy support. if you’re just playing it out of the box you will not get any trophies. also, if you have the update and are trying to do the road rules with the motorcycle try and do them with a car instead. that’s all i can think of.
