I’m not sure where they’re getting that “Modern Warfare 2 is the sixth entry in the Call of Duty franchise.” If they are going simply off of Call of Duty subtitles, there are a lot more than 6. Try searching “Call of Duty” on Gamespot or wherever you like. You will find a lot more than 6 unique titles. One day people will realize Call of Duty: World at War was not “Call of Duty 5.”

What do you mean by the 10th Prestige?
@LIKEUCARE on multiplayer, you rank up and once you get to rank 70 (i think on this 1) you can prestige if you want and then your on your 1st prestige. keep getting to rank 70 and prestige again till you get to 10th prestige rank 70 which is as far as you can go.
Can’t wait! If this is as easy as CoD4 on Veteran, I’ll platinum this game in NO TIME.
Although, I wish there were prestige trophies, but hey, I’m glad we have these.
Anyone know what this “special ops” mode thing is?

To other people that are disappointed because there’s almost no Online Trophies, I’m sure Infinity Ward is cooking something up with the upcoming DLCs so I wouldn’t worry too much! Maybe a trophy related to that 10th Prestige? It would be such an honor getting one… all the dedication needed to reach that title… very satisfying! I’m not sure if I’d have the patience to reach one since I barely play online but who knows!

It’s the equivalent of COD:WAW’s co-op.
The single-player is solo only as far as I know.
These are a set of seperate missions specifically for co-op.
Similar to Uncharted 2: Among Thieves’ co-op.
I see why online trophies would suck. I hope they have offline campaign co-op because I really want to play with my family and friends. BTW theres a new MW2 campaign trailer its awsome check it out.

These trophies have kinda spoiled some of the story but i dont really mind as we’re bound to have spoilers pop up in reviews an stuff.
