I already have this game finished. My friend ordered a copy from Hong Kong on the internet which is fully english. Why it was released there and not here will always be a mystery to me…

Anyways, yeah this game was good, but it was excessively difficult. Also there are really annoying ways to die. It is EXTREMELY easy to just walk off a ledge. It took us both around 37 hours each to finish with LOTS of level grinding.

first thing i have to say to anyone who has this game is DONT complain about the difficulty, from software have the tendency of making most of their games around more experienced players.
the game is brilliant, it has a very dark atmosphere to it and the bosses make up amazing battles, at first you will find the game hard and you will die a lot, but dont let that put you off the game, coz it really is amazing once you get good at it.
oh and america release date is planned for sometime in the fall 2009, and EU has no release date, so if you want it just import the american copy when it comes out.

I’m from UK and just bought this on ebay from Hong Kong… OMG this game ROCKS – this is gaming how it used to be… The dexterity of a C64 player definitely required! A perfect example of a niche game that would only ever come out on PS3… Phew! Buy it now!

Still playing this game, it’s like videogame cocaine…
Unbelievable – the little extras peppered around are awesome, and yes, it’s hard. But like every review, once you learn the controls and stop “running at things hacking and slashing” – it becomes a really skillful game. Stunning. Let’s hope there’s a sequel.

been tryin to platinum this for a couple of weeks now, and have gotta say that the master slicer trophy is a ****ing b**** if any1 has a sharp +5 weapon and would like to help me, it would be really really appreciated, i found out that the drop rate for it is like 1/200 off some other site, add that to the 2 enemies that drop it, and you’ve got the most annoying trophy ever. ever.

still playing it 100 hours in – one game where the trophies don’t matter, it’s all about multiple completions, meeting all the NPCs and just experiencing the game… there’s just so many facets to it… I’ve completed it, then realised that I hadn’t upgraded as well as I should have… 2nd time around is 5 x more difficult than the first time (certainly by the XP you get per creature!) and it’s tough! So started it again, carefully upgrading, getting all the geckos, getting the special weapons… when I do it again there’ll be no stopping me!!! Best game I’ve played. Period. Not since the C64 has a game come along and grabbed me by the throat… Worth every penny!

To what game could you compare it to? For the gameplay, the setting, the graphics, the story and such?

That game has many praising but when I saw the video on this week’s PSN trailer update, I wasn’t much impressed… I hope they release a demo before the game gets out…

Oh and last question… How’s the original soundtrack of the game? To what game could you compare Demon’s Souls music?

I believe you get it when you finish the game.
Anyways, this game is amazing! Took me 3 days to get used to.

I’m so inlove with this game.
I usually spend no more than 40 hours on a single game.
I’ve spent 63 hours so far on Demon’s Souls, and I don’t think I’ll stop playing any time soon.

You get the World Uniter’s trophy from beating the game with the good ending.

Anyway, I think this game is hardest when you first play through it since you dont really know what you are getting into. The second time you go through it is much easier, since you know how to beat the bosses easier. I beat the game three times and it took me 118 hours to get the platinum. Most of the time was spent trying to get some of the ore drops.
