I got 100% trophies now ive got broken steel and the pitt and got all their trophies and im back up to 80%

i have almost got platinum on the game just got to get 50 speech and 50 hacks and level 14 godd and nutural and level 20 good and nutural yeah when i do get the platinum it will be my 5th platinum
i just got the GOTY edition today and tried to load it up but the option to load my previous save files was no available. does anyone know what is going on here and can you please help me? it says in the manual and on the official site that the save files are compatible. i even tried updating the old game data from the initial disc version of fallout 3 updated to version 1.61, and that didn’t help either. so i tried deleting all of the game data and starting fresh, and it still didn’t recognize the save files. can anyone please help?

Can you still see your save files in your home menu of your ps3? If not the files are damaged and deleted.
But there are alot of bugs and errors in the goty version like freezing in point lookout every minute -.- i hope they fix it soon.
Picked up this last night… never played it before, but wanted it for those… sniff, lonely nights.
Put this disc in, loaded up… but it never installed a new patch… I has no trophies? Bug? Fix? hlp k.
Hi, I have a question, I have bought ‘Ring of steal’ DLC will that get me to 100% on trophies or do the other DLCs have trophies aswell?
thanks for the response mushroomnoob. turns out there is a huge issue with the GOTY in Canada only. they sold the BLUS30185 in Canada initially as it was attached to the special edition I think. so most people in North America have this version, including myself. the canadian one they released for GOTY only works for the french canadian one which is complete crap because quebec does not equal all of canada. Thus, the game saves are incompatible between regions and my save file does not load up since the original save files were not made to match the BLUS30455 version now being sold in canada. so everyone in canada that bought the GOTY got screwed basically. on the Bethesda message boards there is a lot of chatter about it, and all they can say is they are looking into it. I doubt there will ever be a patch made so I returned my GOTY copy to EB Games for an Assassin’s Creed 2 Preorder and bought the US version of Fallout 3 GOTY off of EBay. It’s pretty much the only solution for Canadians as I’m sure Bethesda really doesn’t care about fixing the issue made by complete stupidity and quite an amazing oversight when you think about it.

did you buy the GOTY edition? it should have trophies attached automatically without a patch. if its an older version it should patch once you go online. where are you located? i think i read that some region (maybe french Canada) did not get a patch update for some reason? hopefully you’re not from Quebec. otherwise search online and check message boards

Location = BC, Canada. It is possible to have acquired a non-up-datable copy of the game? :S
I’ve checked out some other message boards, but nothing about this issue. I’d have to have to return the game – being a trophy hunter and all.
Solved. Canadian versions don’t get the 1.1 update apparently (ref: FO3 forums).
Went out and exchanged for GotY edition.
GOTY edition is definitely the way to go. 5 expansions?? 60 bucks??!?? definitely worth it.

funny, im in bc canada as well. yeah i thought it might be the canadian one then. ridiculous how that one didnt get the update for some reason. i guess if you’re starting fresh with the GOTY edition thats okay then, you just get screwed if you’re trying to continue an old character from a previous version.

the tropies look solid but av got 27platnum and just rented terminator salvation for the ps3 and it only got 12 trophies 11of them are gold an the other1 is platnum but he game is crap

If not for the game freezing up so often, this would be the ps3 game of the century. however, cuz of the bugs, I would have to give it to borderlands, or even dragon age origins.

Hi guys, i need some help plz. I was thinking to reach level 20 with a good carma and then losing carma by killing and doing the bad things in the game so i’ll got the natural and bad carma trophies. however, know i am at level 20 and i did my plan and got the devil carma but i did not got the trophies. i don’t know what to do to got those trophies
i can’t stand the idea of starting from the begining and level up to level 14. The game consume more time than others 
I had another save data which is i am in already in level 14
If I rent the original PS3 game and later on buy the Game of the Year edition, will I be able to continue my old game? Just wondering if I should rent this from GameFly but I keep hearing that it is glitch ridden. Also, GameFly doesn’t have the Game of the Year edition for rent.
