Pre-ordered the games some days ago and saw it lying in the store today. In other words: Crappy feeling as I already paid the game up front and didn’t feel like buying it twice just to play it today. If stores would hold to the official release day I wouldn’t have felt so f*cked up the *ss today!

I got dead space instead of this game! I didn’t see it in fred meyer but I saw dead space…so I figured far cry 2 wasn’t out, lol!

Cool, got this delivered Thursday by Play.com a day early! Awesome game, got 4 trophies already, ive only played it for about 2 hours, but hopefully will play it when i get home from work today!

map editor is really indepth, could spend a good 5 hours making stuff, Online was quite laggy but i suspect a patch comin out soon to update…

online actually requires some skill too with no map! makes it too easy for a sniper though.

Does anybody know how to get the “Good Night Sweet Prince” trophy? I can’t figure it out at all!

you have to kill a buddy when they are injured rather then save them

when one of yur buddies gets hurt and they ask u too heal them, u press right on the d-pad and it will switch to yur sidearm, then press R1 and your character will kill yur buddy. then you will get the trophy. but only kill a buddy that u dont like. haha

How do you rate user downloaded maps? ive downloaded 25, I have no idea how to rate them! lol!

Also… any idea when the journalist appears? Ive been to Mikes bar, and many other places lots of times but he never appears! ive got 4 tapes but no-one to give them to!

any help would be awesome.

You need to play the map to rate it, you get a choice at the end of the game.

The journalist appears when you get to about 50% through, he is part of the story and you will run into him

this game must have the most bugs ever. ive done all the assassination missions and got no trophy, ive got all the diamond briefcases and got no trophy and also got all the jacle tapes and given them to the journalist and still no trophy !

i paid 40 quid for this!

thats not to mention all the other bugs ffs…

spent 10 hours waisting my time on a trophy i didnt get… unbeliviable

i have just got all the jackel tapes, but i cant find reuben in Mike’s Bar, what will i do?? is reuben anywhere else?

it depends on how much of the game you have completed. after around 80% he doesnt appear in the bar until the mission where he is in the bar…. but before that he’s in Mikes bar on the southern Territory.

Vi12usboy do not buy this game. In fact, don’t even rent it. Even if you do want the trophies. This is simply the worst video game that has ever been created. I paid $10 to rent it from Blockbuster. I took it back 2 hours later and rented Bioshock for easy easy trophies. Also, Bioshock is the greatest game I think I have played in a very long time.

can someone tell me please how to get the third faction trophy? and can you come back to the north territory after finish the game? i didn’t finish yet but i’m curious

Awful awful graphics. I can’t believe this game got good reviews for it’s graphics! lame lame lame.
I rented it so now i have it on my trophy lists……so im gonna have to rent it again to get 100%…..i just can’t leave it on my trophy list and not get them lol.

i havnt heard of any 1 who has platinum, i need trophy help?? how do u get The third faction, Ruthless & Cold Blooded, ive completed the game twice, and still cant get them..

oh and i cant get the tape one, do u bring a tape back one by one, or can u find all and then bring them all back, thats wat i did.. ever worked..

What you mean look for GTA if you want trophies. there are plenty of games that have trophies and if your looking to platinum thats not the one. Fly the coop and quf weidershen drives you and your ps3 to insanity.

it’s easier to get them on easy/normal difficulty so it’s not so hard to navigate the the roads.

The soldier of misfortune trophy will arguably be one of the most challenging trophies to obtain, simply because Facrcry 2 multiplayer might die off before you ever get the chance to get all these kills. Anyway, here are the requirements on the Farcry 2 website. GO to the side bar and select multiplayer and scroll down. Get all the Ranked kills on that table.

A note on the diamond collection.
In the Northern Territory (Leboa-Seko) In the very center region of the map (the same sector that Pala is in). The most northern Safe House (West of the fresh fish market & Northeast of the SLaughterHouse) There is a diamond on top of a small mountain. You can not reach it by foot, don’t try. Seriously, don’t try. There is a road east of here on the opposite side of the river, that dead ends at the top of a cliff with a hang glider. Take the hang glider str8 down across the river (aim for the dirt path on top of the mountain.)

I feel like an idiot because during my first play through I wandered all around that stupid chunk of rock trying to figure out how to get up there.

i know of a method to rank up levels fast on farcry2, also with a decent group working together we could get all the guns finished in no time!… im level 19 PSN: dannifood4less

also, an easy way to get the Adventurer trophy is to download 25 maps from the map community, and start your own room in player match, then start each map on your own, vote to quit, and rate the map. (kick anyone that joins cuz they might not vote yes)

one tip i have for everyone that plays the story mode.. SUBVERT THE MAIN FACTION MISSIONS if you dont youll be pissed when you have to play the entire story again to get those trophies!

the graphics on Farcry2 are great! what are tou talking about.. however the voiceovers in the game is TERRIBLE!! that aside, this is not a game you can get a platinum on by renting for a week. i know guys with over 200 hrs logged online and still arent level 30, and/or dont have all the field manuals!

great tip for the adventurer trophy dannifood4less, i wasnt looking forward to trying to play all those full rounds.
what is the method you know of to rank up levels fast? i just started playing online for this after completing the story and am only at level 4 so far. how do you get up there quick? let me know.

this game was really disappointing the ending sucked and everyone shoots at you the shooting is crap as well as the driving the game was really repetitive and boring like assassins creed but without being any fun only good thing is 2 easy golds at the end of the game

i like getting trophies theres tons of trophie games.

I have finished the whole game but I’m still on 96% and not 100.
Can anyone axplain how this is possible?

If your game save says 96% it’s just because it saves before you finish the last mission. It doesn’t save after the the game ends.

Any idea how to get the trophie for completing all the cellular tower missions as I did them all but got no trophie. I look at the map and there is no missions for them. I completed the game but still none left. Is this a bug in the game that means it can’t be done

It sounds like the trophy glitched. It should just pop up when you finish the last tower mission. If you have an earlier save, try loading it up and doing the last few missions again.
