looks quite easy but reaching max level 3 times will suck

im getting this

the controls were dumb. im sorry but like as i tried to figure them out, i killed 4 people on my team. somebody please tell me that if i buy this friendly fire isnt always on.

Yeah, I didn’t really care for the beta, either. Each time I went on to play it, I was met with a brand-new 6-8 hour install. One of the few times I did get to play, I only thought it was okay. It’s just another shooter. Honestly, I’m getting kind of sick of them. The only shooter I’m really looking forward to is ‘Aliens Vs. Predator’, and even that is a maybe-buy (it all depends on the upcoming demo).

i liked the beta, maybe because i was good at it, but yeah, getting this, maybe not on release, but shortly after

anyone know if my ribbons will carry over to each character?

will they allow you to have multiple characters in the retail game? i know in the closed beta you could only have one character at a time but i’m not sure if they changed that in the closed beta

Is this only a online game can you earn trophies offline.

err No, online game only, there will be no single player/campaign at all!

i was planning on buying this but i didnt want to cuz of the beta// i played the MAG beta and it looks kinda lame tho .. its nothing but just killing ppl thats it.. its not like mw2 killstreak loadout or sumthing really exiciting u can use in a game..

finally. trophies look kind of tough though cause theres no telling how hard or easy those missions you have to earn ribbons are are going to be. arkham asylum tough or spec ops average difficulty or are they going to be really easy? like i said no telling

not impressed with beta. No killstreak or similar rewards. Graphics average. Controls fiddly. Respawn takes 4ever. Too many campers.(YES YOU!)Nothing new really apart from 256 players which is too many imo.i’ll stick to mw2 thanx. Shame cos trophies are the kind of thing i like.

Getting this game later in the year

this game is great, its not call of duty imagine if 100 players had an airstrike or whatever killstreak reward, it wouldnt work. as for the (45 min) update it was to improve graphics and gameplay in the ‘BETA’ and of course multiple characters are available, why do u think in the beta it has a box with your character name n faction, then a biiiiiigggg space for more characters..? hmmmm

The BETA was amazing once it started, but waiting to find a game is hell, it took them half an hour to find me a game! WTF? Why can’t we just choose a server and jump in?

Well, like others mentioned, the BETA wasn’t really impressive. The controls are sluggish, slow and the aiming is bad, even with FragFX v2. As for the gameplay, it’s pretty much average for a console FPS.

And yes… the FRAKKING updates and install took forever to happen… the downloads were FRAKKING slow also… finding a server took forever too. As for the trophies, they seem pathetic… The only people who’s gonna Platinum this game up will in fact, ONLY PLAY THIS GAME to reach it. So, for a online-only game, I’ll pass… thank you very much!

Think I had more fun with Battlefield Bad Company 2 BETA than this…

like they said before, the beta was just average. but it was ok, but i think the game will be boring not long after you first played it, cause there are no killstreaks nd stuff. u can earn yr special streaks, like mortarstrikes etc…
but we havent seen this yet nd a beta or demoversion should have to possess everything to make it look good… i m sorry but bad compagnie 2 beta was more fun,
I hope the beta version was just a BETA version and the game itself will be worth buying it !

some of you people are complianing that there are no killstreak rewards, this isnt call of dookie, move along. when you get squad leader you get airstrikes, platoon leader gets a bigger airstrike and gas bombs, and OIC gets tactical assests. To the guy who said it was sluggish on a fragFX, go play CPU games baby, take your mouse with you, its a console for a reason. for those who say they will stick to mw2, do that, and remember everytime you die its mainly because IW does p2p and not dedicated servers, thats why cod will always fail for online. somehow one dude complains no killstreaks and complains about people camping, then he says he will go back to mw2, thats funny, thats all people do on mw2 is camp for killstreaks, and b4 someone says i suck, i guarantee i;d smack you around with my gold chopper gunner title i got weeks ago when i stopped playing that POS. Zipper knows how to do line, they Fn pioneerd it on a console with VoIP, go back to playing call of dookie, this game is WAR, not 6v6 with constant radars, grenade launchers, and everything else you noobs need /rant

Finally…. thankyou xjippyx first person who seems to talk some sense here.. bout time too with all you other moaning how it’s not going to be like MW2. That was precisely the point of the game, something different to COD, this will be more realistic when it comes to warfare scenarios. Not some lame game where its 6 on 6 and someone calls in a nuke. I mean I don’t mind MW2, but some people worship the game and just make it boring for everyone else. Definately getting MAG!!!

So… voicing opinions and experiences with the BETA is whining? You guys need a reality check… especially you xjippyx! Just enjoy MAG when it releases and don’t pester people who don’t like it.

I didn’t like the beta, period. I had more fun with BFBC 2 BETA, better for me! As for CoD MW2… don’t get me started with that craptacular game… I do admit MAG offers more fun than MW2… I just can’t stand MW2… You cannot compare MAG with MW2 at all, different genre, different tactics. I’ll give it that Zipper did great with console VoIP over the last years. Thanks for them, we might have VoIP chat in many upcoming games… hopefully!

Indeed! I prefer that one especially theres going to have a single player campaign and MP with it. MAG is MP only… so it lose my interest right there!

The only interesting thing I’ve heard about this game it the supposed ranking system… I can vaguely remember something about the fact that you gain rank through merit rather than spending all your life playing the game in a rather crap way… How in depth this is will set this game apart from other(some say better) fps, and it’ll have to be more than just k/d ratios, accuracy, and overall points. It would have to incorporate teamwork, decision success, battlefield sense and i somehow very much doubt it… That would be impressive…

If you look past hype and glossy looks, BF:BC still rocks…

This game is about teamplay and realism, not like look-at-me-i-got-99/3-K/D-and-15-awards type of game.So MW2 fans stop whining…

This game is way better than Modern Warfare 2 you cant compare the two of these games. You just get some extra XP for so many kills in a killstreak but not your stupid killstreaks which is good.

IF only MAG was similar to MW2 multiplayer, I would have bought it but sadly . it isn’t.. I”m not talking about the perks, I’m talking about KILLSTREAK REWARDS!!! That would make it more fun, rather than going around the map killing people and going on a killing streak without getting anything!!!!

MAG is so much better than modern warfare 2. Modern warfare 2 killstreaks are so annoying e.g chopper gunner that one is so annoying. This game would be stupid with killstreaks, can u imagine if 100 players all had helicopters or any other killstreaks it would NOT work.

Killstreaks? are you serious? I think the killstreaks ruin MW2, the shooting is great, the xp system is great in it, then out of nowhere the killstreaks and perks like commando ruin it. MAG looked really good, I never tried the Beta because everyday I kept saying I would DL it but forgot to, but after looking at some videos, it looks really good. I dont like how the trophies are too time consuming though, I like playing multiplayer games for fun, and dont like the idea of going to each room, and trying to get trophies instead of playing the game how its suppose to be played.

u think ur going to get a killstreak reward in live combat???? “Congratulations soldier. u got 25 kills in a row. please kill everything with this nuke…” its bloody stupid. live combat u follow orders and fight together. not go on a solo run through the park. mw2 is crap compared to mag.

i agree completely, commando is the saddest perk, everyone just runs around knifing the game SUCKS !!!. There is stuip glitches, you run faster with a care package, you can shoot with your tactical insertion. My chopper gunner went under the map for god sake. MW2 sucks, MAG is amazing

if you get the game you will think its very timecomsuming some most are easy the time comsuming ones are get all medals get all ribbions and get to level 60 3 times

k i will getting 4 sure now the only thing i do when playing mw2 is sending messages like ‘pathetic camper’ , ‘noobtuber’ , ‘ump nuuub’ , ‘heartbeat fag’ and so on .. xD and no i dont suck at all, i play SnD 95% of the time, got K/D over 1.75 and got numerous nukes xD

FACT: Betas ARE NOT THE FINISHED GAME. Therefor, DO NOT JUDGE A GAME BY A BETA.

I liked the beta for MAG, I was good, Played S.V.E.R. It came out on my birthday and was like “Sure why not”. Got it. Logged 70+ hours and hit 60 so far. Once you hit 60 you can Vet mode. Which means you can switch PMCs. Only 1 character at a time. One of the best online games i have ever played. The reason some people do not like it: it requires teamwork. Better then MW2 By a long shot. Customizing is good, Plus respec helps sometimes. Also, no kill streak shit. But if you are any for of commander you can call in some cool stuff. Bomb strikes, Stuff like that.

face it this game is 1 of the best online game ever. im valor yes sometimes u feel like how are s.v.e.r so good. its because they work as a gd unit. im level 60 my clan is ?stars? and highly addicted to this game. people say to me cod this cod that, but cod players don’t give anything a chance tell them to play the game get to level 15 become a leader play in domination and then we see. but in my eyes 8.5/10

Yes… but you will get exp faster on later lvls (if you got 60 with one team, second one will be faster) Hope that helps your trophies =P

Well… the first lvl 60 is quite slow but it’s not boring =P Really fun getting it.
Dudes complaining this to CoD: No… This is not CoD and MAG has no campers, noobtubers, laggers etc. MAG doesn’t even lag with those 256 player matches.

If you are buying the game i’ll say that join Valor or SVER =P

this takes way too much time!! im at 78% and the rest of the trophies are insane to get…get 1000 kills with everygun and grenade and blah blah too much time! ive logged 100+ hours and still have another 100 or so just to get my platinum!

Good game but i have other games to play(BF:BC2 and Madden 11 soon). I believe i would play this more if i wasn’t on valor. Raven and S.V.E.R are to good and they work good as well as a team.
