this game looks good although i still have to beat warhawk alot of other games but if this game is avlible i will rent it.
i love snowboarding do i picked it up…. its really addicting but some times its realistic but i hate how u can just whip out a back flip off a tiny bump but i snowboard in real life and this is the next best thing

Is anyone else having problems with the completing every competion online? I know for a fact that i have completed each competion on each mountain online but still i dont get the individual trophies. Has anyone else tried?
Not very specific are they? Could do with a bit more information on each one in my opinion. Anyway seems to be a cool game.
I bought it, played for 1 day, then eBay’ed it. I thought it would be more fun then it ended up being.

I think it might be that you have to have gotten each of those on screen bonuses that pop up,
eg cliff edge, gap etc

Scenester Achievement

Sick Spin
Jump off a big ramp and hold the left stick left or right to spin
Sick Air
Jump off any mountain or ramp that’s reasonably big and you’ll get this
Cliff Edge
Ride close to a cliff edge without falling down. There’s plenty of them about, especially near the top of mountains.
Nice Tweak
Jump off a big ramp and pull off a grab by holding down a direction on the right stick. Keep it held and pull the right trigger to tweak it
Gap
I always get this at the top of mountains, when I jump over those crevaces. There’s a lot of them in Alaska.
Avalanche
Aim for the parts on the map where there are red areas with warning signs on them and trigger an avalanche. Timing it right so that you are riding in the yellow/red area without bailing is hard but keep at it and after a few seconds of doing so you’ll get this
Grabation
Do a whole load of grabs in the air. Easiest place to do it is near Shaun’s hideout in Alaska as detailed earlier on but can generally be done on most ramps. A park or freestyle board will help along with the big air and speed abilities obtained from doing Shaun’s quests
Near Miss
Achieved when you narrowly miss objects. Probably easiest to do in Alaska where there are loads of trees but generally you’ll get this without even trying.
Speed Demon
Press forward on the left stick to go faster. Once you get to a nice hilly section you’ll pick up some speed and get this style bonus
Snowball
Hit somebody with a snowball by pressing the A button. Holding it down and waiting for the bar to fill increases your accuracy. Easiest to do in either freeride or during a death race.
Transfer
Jump from one rail to another
Slow Spin
Just make a slow spin, hold the left stick to one side, BUT just a little bit (Amped style)
Lip Slide
You get this when riding in the halfpipe and you cruise near the edge of the top of the halfpipe.
Wind Lip
EDIT: bo-oz The wind lips are the ’sort of’ natural one-sided halfpipes you can find in the higher area’s of the mountain. I got mine at park city –> rightmost avalange, it’s the thing on the right covered with ice. Just slide the top for the windlip slide, jump it for the wind lip.

i have trouble doing spins past 360’s and 540’s, even on the biggest jumps. i can do a double back flip but not a 720.
any tips? i wanna do 720, 900, 1080, 1260…anything big!
change your board.. focus power makes it easier too

i have just got my platinum on this by stumbling on a nice glitch.
online, trying to get the high stakes trophy i had one other player vs me, i bet $30,000 in alaska. from the top i played jib/ground tricks and off we went. i fell into the first ravine and DNF’ed. the other player fell soon after and it gave me the high stakes trophy (and my platinum) as it registered we both dnf yet we both won $60,000 each.
it appears that the glitch is as long as all players dnf everyone wins. sweet.
