seems time consuming i was pretty impressed with the 1st game nearly got all the acheivments it takes a while to do everything.
i would get this, but i got to save up for Killzone 2 and RE5.
I might get this, but iv played tony hawks and stuff and when I cant do tricks on that it drives me to insanity.
Skate is nothing like Tony Hawks. Except it’s a skating game obviously. What I nean is that they are controlled completely differently.
yea tony hawk is all button pressing tricks, while skate is all done with the right analog stick.
tony hawk is waaaay more arcade and skate is very realistic.

I JUST GOT SKATE 2 demo. SKATE #1 was really good and by playing the demo skate 2 will be be even better. also to the guy that wants a platinum get burnout paradise. EA is the best!!!

has any1 got a clue if skate 2 trophies will be easy to achieve just like burnout paradise
seem fairly easy to me, doubt it would take me too much time to get a platinum in this, just the online trophies that might tske up a bit off time but apart from that they seem very easy.

yo to eevryone asking skaters choice is a thing in spot battles online that u an rate the other plyers run by hittin triangle circle square or x depeding on ur opinon on their run..simple really dont worry about it. n no there is no split screen take turns hitting a spot or doing a trick pass the control style.
this game is cool tho i recommend it

@ Rowdy farmer, EA is not the best at all, it needs to sort out its server for BF: Bad company, fifa09, lotr. And needs to start putting trophies on madden, nhl, nba, fifa.

omfg,i need the “active skater” trophy,i done all the freeskate activities and the trophy never popped up FFS,that would of been my 5th platinum but i cant be asked to play skate2 anymore as i buy new games add me for street fighter boosting,killzone2 boosting and trophy help georget1996 if i have to many friends just send me a message and tell where you got my ps3 id from and ill accept you

shad your stupid, skate is way better, prefer 1 and 2 story to number 3 though.
Skate 2 & 3 are a million times better than tony hawk. i was a die hard TH fan still i learned about skate. but i think th doesnt compete to skate. the trophies were pretty easy ecpt for a few HOM ones, took me a few weeks to complete them all, some were a real pain in the ass. but a good game. my first plat. = )
