this game is GREAT i have Platinum trophy from SKATE 2 its Great game
I honestly ( from demo play) think skate2 has better and easier player/board control than skate 3 so far, but i am still going to buy this game, huge fan of the series, and woo! more trophies! xD

Loved SKATE 1 and 2, played the skate 3 demo and it looks good, although it doesn’t bring alot of new stuff (gameplay) in spite of darkslides and underflips.
But I don’t like the fact they changed the city’s name to Port Coverton.

No way man, that’s pretty awesome. If you watch the Dev Diarys you’ll see they really thought hard about this place. It’s less compact that San Van.

definitely getting this the 14th of May! platinumed Skate2 (it was a lot of work) and i want this to be my next platinum after i finished heavy rain.. skate2 is really my favorite game after fallout3..

I have the game already. I got it at midnight. It is easily better then skate 2. There are many more features, the graphics are improved, and the pverall fun is much better. The new HoM is incredible, the new guide features even make bailin more fun. If you have the demo, do the glitch to go through the barriers. Look it up on YouTube. I had platinumed Skate 2, and this is EASILY better. The only negative is that party play has been removed. No local multiplayer
the hidden trophies are (1) 300ft grind (2) 75000 HoM bail (3)10000 point trick (4) 30000 point trick (5) SKATE FLU for the tricks u have to get them without all 4 wheels touching the ground manuals count for keeping it going. i’ve had the game for a day & have 56% of the trophies. its gonna be the team crap that im gonna hate doing. OH N I HAVE THE SKATE FLU

Man thank you!! I was never gonna figure out to do a 300 ft grind to get the last trophy I needed. I ended up just building my own park with a 300 ft rail haha.
no problem but i think the it take3s a really big village trophy is bullsh!t. its a comulative trophy of everu1 who plays skate 3 its sell 3 billion boards (online i believe) n the tracker was at 1.8 billion
the IT TAKES A REALLY BIG VILLAGE trophy is the only trophy i needt platinum skate 3

just need ‘It takes a really big village’ what a stupid trophy.. I still believe trophies should be based on the players skill and not communal based activities.. skate with 6 mates in a lobby aswel.. dislike but i got it anyway.
last time i checked the total world wide sales it was -1,700,000… I think they have bugged this trophy so that they can release an expansion pack and trophy whores like myself will need to buy this pack if they want skate 3 in their platinum collection.

there was a bug on mine and my friends ps3 where the first starting video (bigfoot get shot thing where it shows you how a skate board is made (not an animated video)) watch that video right at the start to get it takes a really big villige try it it might work because it has worked on two different skate.3 copies and 2 different Ps3’s i hope this helps!
