Do you think trophies will be out by the end of August for this or Burnout?

  2. July 15th, 2008 at 11:16 | #2

I don’t know about Uncharted…they’ve just said sometime -08 for this title. But Burnout on the other hand I’m sure will hit before the end of August.

    Details Revealed:
    psu.com/Uncharted-Trophies-coming-soon,-details-revealed-News–a0004375-p0.php

-There will be 48 Trophies in Uncharted; 47 Trophies for finding treasures, participating in hand-to-hand or gun combat and the like, one platinum Trophy for unlocking all other Trophies
-The Trophies are tied to the medal rewards which already exist in Uncharted
-It’s not possible to attain all Trophies in one playthrough
-To earn Trophies, you must start a new game without any medals or rewards unlocked (if Trophies could be earned retroactively, cheating could occur)
-No other additions or changes outside of Trophies will be in the patch
-Although there’s no set launch date, the patch is arriving soon

    Thanks PSU.com!

    August 5th, 2008 at 01:08 | #20

u thin that if u pass the game in hard for example, you can have easy and normal trophies???

  21. August 5th, 2008 at 02:13 | #21

@ CARDENUR: Most likely it’ll work like that. No confirmation on it yet but the medal awards which the trophies are based on did stack.

  22. trk
    August 5th, 2008 at 06:07 | #22

i got all of those on previous playthroughs, with the exception of hard and brutal game finishes (i found it to be quite an easy game on normal difficulty mode but hard mode was, well, HARD – can’t imagine what brutal must be like!). most of those trophies are pretty easy, treasure hunting is easy with gamefaqs.com guide. it’s a really really good game, might have to give it another playthrough. still disappointed in the general lack of support for custom soundtracks… supposedly if you finish pixel junk eden it unlocks custom soundtracks but it’d be nice to have a game which supported it out of the proverbial box.

    August 5th, 2008 at 15:20 | #24

damn, i’m so happy i bought this game way back when i first got my ps3! now they need to make trophies for heavenly sword, and mgs4! that’ll be great to see some stacking achiev… i mean trophies for mgs4! hehe! i also have cod4, resistance, gta4, dmc4, and assassin’s creed<—trading in.
But worst come to worst i’d wrather see exclusives with trophy support first!

my new saying for ps3 level system
    “Get on my level!”
    play beyond.

If I play the game on hard, and beat it, do I automatically get trophies for Easy and Normal.

  26. Hopar_Narek
    August 5th, 2008 at 19:39 | #26

Do i speak for all of us by saying they shouldn’t make those ??? trophies, i mean cmon, whats the point of doing achievements if you dont know wat to do. besides when someone else get the trophy for BEATING the GAME on CRUSHING DIFFICULTY, no one will know bcuz it is ??? and is a black trophy that doesnt say wat the player did

I’m so excited to hit up all of these trophies I’m a manager at gamestop and can’t wait to play after work tomorrow. It is such a smooth and solid game. I love the covering system. When I first played the game it reminded me of a next gen version of Tomb Raider. Who’s with me in saying they can’t wait till the next Drakes comes out!!! :)

Great! I decide to take a 5 day vacation out of town and the patch goes live.

oh well, I guess i’ll have to start taking some of those sick days :)

I bought this game used for $30 last week. From all your comments it’s going to be a great game.

Question: how “easy” is normal mode.

  32. Syntopicon
    August 7th, 2008 at 08:00 | #32

Just a quick note up there, Charted! Easy is a silver and Charted! Normal is a gold. The source? My PS3.

  33. Hopar_Narek

    Easy – Tooo easy
    Normal – Beatable
Hard – just a tiny bit harder… not much

Reply to the guy whos moaning about black trophies, when you obtain the “???” trophies, they dont stay black, so people can see what you’ve achieved.

  35. Hopar_Narek
    August 7th, 2008 at 17:50 | #35

They dont stay Black for YOU, But for others, it stays black. i have a friend with all trophies, the black ??? trophies still remain black for others, and are only revealed to you after you finished them

Having problems with the Steel Fist Expert Trophy… Do you have to soften up 5 of them and then use 5 punches or can you shoot one at a time?

Got all the others, working on Hard mode now…. Takes a couple hours for each play through.

  38. August 8th, 2008 at 09:44 | #38

You can shoot one at a time. I heard people have been getting the trophy quite easily just at the start of the game on the boat.

  39. dexterlar
    August 8th, 2008 at 14:11 | #39

Well compare torphies to them and you should be able to see them, surely?

Took me 5 and a half hours to do hard :)
Now on Crushing, that guy was right, patience is the key.

@raze, that steel fist trophy is probably the hardest one, i find.

  40. dexterlar
    August 8th, 2008 at 14:20 | #40

Not even comparing them, lets you see them.

    That seems a bit stupid.

  41. Hopar_Narek
    August 8th, 2008 at 16:10 | #41

I already beat the story on crushing months ago, so when i started a new file, it let me pick that difficulty. i wonder if it will still give me the trophies for Curshing, hard, normal, and easy all in one run

  42. Syntopicon
    August 9th, 2008 at 06:48 | #42

If you beat a higher level, all levels below it will be counted.

  43. nik
    August 9th, 2008 at 09:34 | #43

Hoper_narek yes if you finish the game in Crushing you will get also trophies for easy, normal and hard.

    Now my question is:

I finish the game in Normal mode and I earn a Golden Trophy.

Now I wand to finish it in Hard mode to earn another Golder Trophy and Unlock theCrashing Mode.

Can I do that by going to Chapters select Chapter 1 and then select Hard and continue from there or I have to start a new game in Hard mode?

    Thanks in advanced.

Anyone know the best chapter to get the Dyno-Might trophy?

    Dyno-Might trophy
Kill three enemies at the same time

    Expert Dyno-Might trophy
Use the “Dyno-Might” technique succesfully five times

Ive been trying to do it when you first get the granades but i’m having a difficult time.

  45. Syntopicon
    August 9th, 2008 at 22:01 | #45

Start a new game and just choose to carry over your stuff. Though I would suggest not using the cheats so you can practice for crushing.

best chapter is chapter 4 where you get to the crased plane throw grenade by that tree where the plane is and then wait until someone kills you and do again until you received yuurs dyno expert trophy. this is how have done it.

  48. Hopar_Narek
    August 10th, 2008 at 17:45 | #48

I Dont know why people are saying its not possible to get all trophies in a single playthrough, i got all in a single run, if you dont want to beat the game on HARD and CRUSHING, you can do one of two things,
    1) If you have already unlocked CRUSHING previously, it still remains unlocked
    2) just get a game save with crushing UNLOCKED and it will remain UNLOCKED.
*But be advised that if you want to beat CRUSHING you need patience, you cant just run and gun through the game.

on EASY, go to chapter 1: the boat, where the people climb up. i use the GUNSLINGER combo. press Square, R1 , Square. it will do a punch, shoot, and punch again. use this five times on the boat enemies and you will get it fairly easy
