1.02 WTF?!?!?!?!?

I loaded up the game this afternoon, to be told there is a new version of the game, 1.02. I download it, and reload the game, and find out that my save game is not compatible with the new version! I had to start from the beginning of the mission rather than the checkpoint I had saved at!!

What was even in the update?

the update patched a glitch online where people were able to get under the floor and nobody could get them. don't know if it did anything else.

your whole save game or just your last checkpoint?

Did you have to start game from beginning or just your last level you made it to?

the beginning of the level, not a checkpoint.

i thiought this was just with versions before 1.02 but every veteran level i start at nearly completed iv had to do again because it cannot be read even though it is from the same version

it keeps doing that…it happened in 3 – 4 of my veteran missions..i found out how to fix this..

when the error occurs and it says that the save is not compatible..you quit the game,start it again then continue the file hopefully it will work..i know it worked for mine and saved me the frustation in starting the game from the beginning…

To be honest, I am quite disappointed with the game overall. I haven't played it for ages now, I am playing Resistance 2 mostly now.

This happened to me too, when I was on the last 2 levels. The hardest one's ever to complete in COD 5. I had to start the second from last level 5 times before completing it!!

Still, got all the trophies now, so a happy camper

After 1.02, I lost all my Death Cards, but I still have the trophies for collecting all the Death Cards. It's bs, all that time I was collecting Death Cards has gone to waste.

Wow all my campaign progress DID disappear. Well this sucks. No point in beating the game and getting the death cards again. As soon as the next update comes out, it will probably disappear again.
