man i don't like the new friend UI

to see a massive grey box for every contact you have is horrible.

they really messed up on that one.

I still love how PSN is Free. Awesome!!!!

Dont know if this was here before 3.0, but if you go to the MEDIA Section on the PS Store, there is a Digital Video Guides section.. again, i dont know if that was there before or not.. 

Anyone else notice that you can go on your PS3 browser, go to a webpage, then press triangle, click copy address of this link, and you can paste in a message to your friends. Then, they can click x on the message, then x on the text, and go directly to the page! awesome!! I think its a cool feature.

Also, i found that videos buffer a lot faster now.. but that could just be my internet..

I really love 3.0… just wish those boxes werent around the friends names.

so im back and did the update, this is what i think…

1. the gray boxes are $hit. they look ugly, theres really no need other than seeing what game your friends on.

2. whats with all the links to playstation store? thanks, i know where it is.

3. i dont really care bout the new sound at the start, it last for like 5secs fgs, but the sparkly stuff makes the ps3 seem like a puff.

4. the blurry thing when you read a msg or check someones profile is okay i suppose.

5. XMB looks a bit more tidyer, not bad.

6. bbc iplayer :S just :S

so to sum up, yet another average update imo.

PS3 Freak – it hasnt slowed anything down.. 

I think you will find that now it has to load 100 grey boxes would have slowed it down quite abit

i hope they will also bring out the video/movie service that north america already has

and more ps1 classics already out in japan and usa
