MemberSo my friend and I have decided that we want to spend next weekend (the entire weekend, Mar 6-7) trying to boost our levels on this game. I, personally, want to plat the game but this MP is just painful to my soul to play.
So we are going to do the adam grab boosting where we just go and hack turrets over and over for an easy 1500+ adam per match. Everyone will just leave the little sister alone so we get the bonus at the end of the match as well.
Please add your name to the list if you can and want to boost next weekend (March 6-7).
We need a total of 6 players to do this. However, we have 2 at the moment. so we are looking for 4 more players and so backups in case people dont show up or cant play long.
Requirements: You must know how to boost (leave little sister alone, go with a partner and take turns hacking turrets over and over), also it will be helpful to have a mic.

What? I missed something here on that one…
And uh, this sounds 20 times more boring than just playing the game… wouldn't it be more fun to just figure out how to woop some ass in this? I'm only level 8 and have some techniques that have me woopin on people with level 20-30… I'm not getting 1000 ADAM a round, but I am having more fun than if I just stare at a turret and hold the X button for hours on end…

Boosting will never be fun. But for those of that don’t like the mp or just want to get it done, this is the easier way. It probably would be more fun if you did it legit, but i myself have too many games that i want to play and buy, so i don’t have the time to waste in half baked multiplayer modes just for a gold trophy. Me& edge are going to get this done quickly. Think if you want to,too.
March 1, 2010 at 7:22 pm #58606Memberyea, I have no desire to boost. its come to a point with me where if thats what I have to do, I'm just not bothering (resistance 2, brutal legend, anyone?). However, I kinda enjoy this MP for a few rounds (it gets tired after an hour or two), so if you feel like breaking it up with some actual games, hit me up. I think its fun to experiment with the different load out options to see what combination of plasmids and weapons work well. Also, in a world of run and gun shooters that pretend to not be run and gun shooters (cod, resistance2, bfbc2, anyone?) , I like that this doesn't try to hide it for a second.
On another note, is that really the quickest way to gather ADAM? I know many levels have vials of it scattered about, but haven't determined if they always spawn in the same spots. Might be worth while to collect those. Also – capturing sisters and taking down big daddies garner decent extra points, couldn't you spam that in a non-competitive manner?

I was REALLY wanting to keep working on the MP of Bio2 before the weekend. Looks like I will have to spend the day just being an overachiever in my classes by studying lol.

MemberGuys there is no need for boosting on Bioshock 2. In the first day i already has at level 20.

Participantyeah i spent only a couple hours playing bs2 online and got to lvl 10 or so.

Thats nice I'm at level 20 and it has taken me over 6 hours when I should be close to level 40. The online is shit and I get way too much lag to enjoy it therefore I will boost.
