I think that the internet is going to either be over run by porn, or that we are just going to live by the internet. I mean people are already shopping on the net for food/music/games. I think the more realistic quesion would be, what do you guys think is the future of everything else…?

the solar flare is the beginning of the transformation. it doesn’t take much for the sun to cook our little blue planet. our sun was created 4.567 billion years ago. it is a yellow dwarf, wen the transition begins (as shown in the movie) large solar flares will be generated, and eventually create enough energy/fusion to transform into a red giant. 1 billion years afer that, it will implode, transforming into a white dwarf. all of this is due to happen in approx 5.5 billion years.

that isn’t the point im trying to make though.
when on the brink this movie shows our creaters returning to our planet to rescue chosen humans (which is fucken unfair as hell). yes i know its a movie, but still…

anyway watch it. i wouldn’t call it a space movie, i’d say its a doomsday movie.

the future of the internet would probably be, if things stay as they are now, porn would be abolished due to protesters n women’s rights agencies. peopl would be able to connect themselves into a unit that connects to the router, that would allow more of a social life. internet gaming would be virtual reality. humans will rely on computers and the internet for EVERYTHING. and eventually, the average PC will be so smart that it will take over the world via multiple messages containing a virus sent accross the world.

kingawol: Thanks for telling me the chelsea fan incident is fictional. I'm not surprised things like that do happen though. There's a movie called Green Street Hooligans and it centers around “gangs” that exist for each football/soccer team and there's huge fights and rivalries that occur. Obviously it's just a movie so I can't base anything factual on it… but I'm assuming things like that do exist.

As for my sign out, i didn't put it there with the intentions to make reference to the afterlife or lack there of (Depending on what you believe)… more so in reference to things like.. i dont know.. hate crimes for example? People doing things because they choose not to recognize any other perspective, or just don't bother enlightening themselves… it becomes more reckless than anything. However in the context you used it, and with the saying “ignorance of our own ignorance is bliss”  i actually really like that. i hadn't thought of it that way. nice!
