You see I've alwaysed used Play.com because of the free delivery. However I have used Amazon.com about half a dozen times and every time something has not gone right. Now, considering that I have used Play.com a lot more than Amazon, you would assume that there have been problems there too, not true. I have never had anything other than it being delivered a day before it was soppost to have been. Which I am not that bothered about 😛 However Amazon.com, I had a delivery not turn up, and had to request them to resend it. That one took a while. Broken CD covers, Missing CD's and the wrong items. So yeah, Play.com all the way.

p.s. eBay sucks 😛

Well this topics doen’t really refer to American because play.com in a European (I think) website so really for Americans its like comparing Amazon.com to nothing

Both are very very good, however, if I had to choose one I'd go for play.com

Ironically enough the last order I made they (play.com) got wrong, but that's the first time ever and I've ordered hundreds of things from there.

They've also got a US version called playusa.com but I don't think its anywhere near as good.

I buy quite a bit from Play.com but i have had a few problems – i.e. items not turning up. But to be fair they always refund you if this happens, so on the whole not a bad shopping site. Plus they have nice exclusives and always have deals on PS3 games and Bluray's

only people in the uk would have heard of play.com

amazon is a marketplace, but play.com is a shop. in that sense, play.com is better because you know what you're getting, without fail.

Amazon isn't solely a marketplace though and play.com operates PlayTrade which is essentially the same thing.
