MemberHey all,
I was wondering if anybody knows if there is a way to deactivate a PSN account from a system thats not around. My friend has had numerous PS3's and Ive activated my account on some of them, but when his system started acting up, he would send or return the system without deactivating My account. So now there is a PS3 thats in the warehouse with my account still activated. I have hit my limit and now i cannot download games that I buy on the PSN. Ive tried calling sony and they said that they cant do anything about it.
If anybody has any infromation on how to deactivate a PS3, please help me out.March 28, 2009 at 6:08 pm #22400kingofgames73
Memberphone SONY and ask em to deactivate all the acccounts. or lie and say you have a big family/loads of friends. you gameshared with them a while ago but now 2 of them have sold their ps3s without deactivating em and one is on holiday and ur ps3 has broken down and you have got a replacement and cant download whatever you bought, then ask em to deactivate your acount on all systems

MemberWill that deactivate the accounts that are in the warehouse and on my own system too? I called them and the guy said that he needed the Serial numbers of the PS3. Believe me when i say that i do not want to lose any trophies or any stats on my PSN ID.

Memberu wont lose anything deactivating just stops games that you have downloaded off the account from working. say that your mates have sold their ps3s (prehaps say ebay) and theres no way of getting the serial number also when your phoning dont sound nervous, just keep pushing mention how youve payed a lot for your ps3 and games and your not willing to buy the same thing twice. but if you dont think your getting anywhere hang up and try another person
