Stopping 1 Gold Short (and the Platinum)

Sorry for the double post.

I have another question though. I wanted to start a new game on hard, so I clicked continue on the main menu screen because I had just beaten the game and it was starting over. Then I realized I hadn't turned it on hard, so after skipping the first cutscene I quit to the main menu and switched it to hard, and then clicked continue again. This time it didn't show the first cutscene and I started off right away playing the first level. Is there a chance that because I started off on easy for the first cutscene that I won't get the trophy for hard, or am I okay and I can just keep playing? Thanks!

To be on the safe side I think you should start a new game before you get too far.

you CANNOT simply continue!

you need to create a NEW game on that difficulty!

don't worry though, because you can keep your medals points.

Okay, thanks! I started a new game on hard and kept all my medals. I can't even imagine what crushing will be like.

believe me… it's crushing.

I still managed to do it… but you just need to stay calm and be patient. Checkpoint by Checkpoint, you'll get through it.

I don't mean to brag, but I personally don't think that Crushing is much harder than Hard, you just can't get shot as much, so if you shoot them first, its no problem

crushing also adds enemies that aren't there before. only a couple though.

in hard you can be shot about 5 times. in crushing you can only be shot a maximum of 3.

i personally didnt find crushing that difficult managed to do it in 5 hours and 20 mins, was annoying if i killed loads of ppl then got killed by last and had to go back to checkpoint!

Just beat Uncharted on hard and got the two gold trophies (one for normal too). Now I'm going to start crushing… the ending on hard was really difficult for me.

yahoo almost got all the trophirs, i just rented the game today to get all the trophies and im 6 away haha.

After the first 6 chapters it gets a lot easier. I considered stopping one short but tried anyway. I completed the game in sub 5 hours on crushing. The best advice to give is be patient, concentrate on one enemy at time (the one you think poses the highest threat) and to look out for the flankers and blindfire em if they get to close or shoot them in the head as they move to cover.

They're so aggressive in crushing! On easy I could just take cover and stay there the entire time and still kill everyone. On crushing people are constantly coming up to that you have to get rid of. I wish they would just stay in one place!

OMG – they don't even do that in hard (in an annoying manner) and I already think that one's heavy…
